POLL RESULTS - 87% of the people who voted enjoyed the game PRE UPDATE
I have recently started a thread asking people to vote on whether they enjoyed and liked the game 1.PRE UPDATE or 2.POST UPDATE.

87% enjoyed the game PRE UPDATE
Even if i continue don't think there will be any huge change in that margin.Another main reason i decided to stop the poll is because I finally decided to quit the game that i enjoyed for more than an year.Glad to hear there are some who are enjoying the game POST update.If anyone want to continue the poll then send me an pm,i will send you the excel spreadsheets containing the name of the voter and what he voted for and also on what page he voted,dont know how to post it here,screenshots for the entire thing is not possible because thats a huge data.Posting below some points i came across from my poll and also from different threads.
1.HUGE IMPACT ON FARMING
This has been the main concern for many people.
2.Casual Players are not enjoying the game as they used to.
There are a few casual players who enjoy the new update,but majority of the casual players are not.This simply is not a game for casual players anymore.
3.Game forces you to TROPHY PUSH.
4.Few people have complained that there will always be someone complaining about the Game and they should just quit.
Agree that there will always be someone who complain about the update.But in this case the majority of the clash community are clearly unhappy.All the rage in forums should usually go away but now thats not happening, which clearly indicates how the community feels.Yes instead of complaining they can just quit,the main reason why they complain instead of quitting is that they just don't want to leave a game that they have enjoyed for years.They just want SUPERCELL to balance the again so that they can enjoy the game even longer.
5.Quiet a Few people are enjoying the defensive part of the game.
This defensive part is also available PRE UPDATE for those of you who enjoy it.You simply need to go up the league and build a good trophy base.This has been available from the beginning ,but now everyone is forced to do this even the people who don't enjoy it.
6.80% of attacks are TH SNIPES
Don't know how much of that is true.How can someone truly believe a sale's person who is trying to sell his product.He might have pulled that number out of thin air and there's no way we can know for sure.Even if it is accurate the if 80% of people hide behind the shield the economy of the game should be long dead,which has not happened.No one is complaining about the loot PRE UPDATE and why would anyone try to FIX SOMETHING THAT IS NOT BROKEN.Even if people get a shield from TH snipes they are ready to break it PRE UPDATE,But now people prefer to not to break the shield which again impacts the economy.
7.According to SUPERCELL this game was supposed to be played like this.
Why did it take 3 years for SUPERCELL to realize that ?
8.My thought of the different communities of CLASH OF CLANS(IMO).
WAR COMMUNITY -They are the most skilled players out there.They just don't settle for a 2 star,they simply cant.They always aim for 3 stars.They spend 2 days discussing their strategies with their clan so that they can get 6 stars in war.For some reason always SUPERCELL ignores them.
TROPHY PUSHERS -They are the most active players.They are hungry for cups and nothing else matters.These are the one's who profit SUPERCELL from buying a lot of gems.SUPERCELL have some weird crush on them and want's everyone to be a trophy pusher.
FARMERS -They are the in-game richest people.All they care for is $$$$,they don't care if they lose an attack as long as they got the loot.They just go out their and steal everyone's resources and try to max their village's.Every new player who started this game will start of as a farmer up to a certain TH level.Again for some reason known only to SUPERCELL,they are trying to kill these farmers.
9.REASON FOR THE GAME SUCCESS SO FAR and the FUTURE OF CLASH OF CLANS (IMO)
Clash of clans is the one game that hit the sweep spot and got all aspects right.Its has great social aspect to it,great game dynamics,great strategies,beautiful game balance and the pace at which you can progress the game without getting bored and most importantly you can choose you'r own style of gameplay among WARS,TROPHY PUSHING, and FARMING.Can the game survive long based solely on the people who enjoy the game POST UPDATE? NO.Like i said in my previous post CLASH OF CLANS is a combinations of both CASUAL AND HARDCORE players from WAR,FARMING and,TROPHY PUSHING COMMUNITIES.
There are many meaningful threads out there explaining the problems POST UPDATE,so don't want to go into much detail.Don't mean to offend anyone,just wanted to share my views and call it a day.HAPPY CLASHING
