This is terrible my base keeps getting destroyed 100% and I'm not getting any shield.
Am I going to be reimbursed for all these resources?

Is your base, defenseless? If so, stop trying to "fix" wars to your favor, and build some defenses!
Also, attackers need to USE 1/3 of their troop capacity, in order for you to get a shield.
If they are getting 100% with just 1/3 of their troop cap, it seems very likely, you are a defenseless base, and all I can say is what said above. Stop trying to fix wars in your favor, and BUILD defenses, and then you'll get shields.
If don't want to, then remain unshielded. Your call.
I have 2 tesla towers and 2 air defenses.
This is awful, I am losing millions. What a stupid update!!!!!!!!!

I have a defenseless th7, that unlike popular belief, was not intended for war but as an attack training aid for our low level members.
I did add telsa and hidden traps prior to update. It has never failed to get a shield.
I will PM you the ign/clan name for you too check. It might give you some ideas.

Well what I do is I move with all the cars that are actually moving so I can get to where I need to go. You call it slimy but it's just life. I have studied game theory and I don't want to be a loser.
I only did this because I was losing to other clans that did it. Now it's fair and we win again.
Build enough defenses/walls to make people use 1/3 of the army. Not hard if TH8 or lower

Build up good bases with defenses and designed to sl,ow and stop the enemy from getting 3 stars on you.
Build up good troops, max you camps and barracks.
Max out your troop's levels.
Learn strategy for attacking.
That's the RIGHT way to win wars.
