Here we go again... Lol. "VOUCHER WATCH" is back on the go... As the poll idea went totally awry, this is the next best thing I could think of..?? Simple enough - Just "reply with quote" put your vouchers received in, and then add them to the running total... Obviously, if you have not received any of a certain colour, just backspace it out and change to zero...

For those that don't know, if you make a mistake at all, just edit your post, and the option to delete pops up...

It's not individual lists, it's about all of us... Just "reply with quote" to the last updated count, zero all whatever the last person received/entered, then put your own received ones in, then add to the running totals... Easy peasy... Lol.

I have noticed in some replies, the table is going inside a quote box, which messes it up a bit for the person following..?? The only thing I can think of, is the device people are posting on...?? It works fine on iPads, not too sure on iPhones, etc...
Maybe some feedback might help sort this one, and I'm just correcting any mishaps at the moment...

I was just wondering, with the exp you have going here, how accurate the results are going to be when the base group (the participants) is random. We all receive vouchers very randomly and obviously the probability of getting green is way more than the others. Also, blues are a little more frequent than the purples and the gold is rare. This info is known to all and I guess the results so far are showing that to be true. Having a random group of participants only gives a general overview and the results may be skewed.( if for example, say the person participates only once and in that time they win a couple of rare golds or a handful of purples.....happened in my case:), winning purples I mean.) I think the exp will be way more effective if the base group participates from day one for a set period of time, say 7-10 days, and also plays for a minimum number of hours, say 4 hours, a day. Once we decide who the participants are, only they shall report/post about the vouchers obtained. Also, the table should be separate for each individual like how it is in the voucher 3 thread. That way we can calculate the percentages individually and we can also have a leader table with the sum of all put together, in order to get the overall percentage too. One of the participants can update the leader table once a day. The separate column for percentages will give a much better idea about the probability of obtaining a particular voucher. This is just my opinion and if people have better ideas, or would like to add on to the above, you are welcome.

Thought my lucky streak had ended but got another gold late last night from a boat order. Greens were from from truck and boat orders. Can not complain that is 4 gold in 5 days. I must be getting other players gold, not usually that lucky so is it just me or are gold a little easier to get?

I guess I did not express myself very clearly.:) What I meant is that, the experiment having progressed so far, is showing results that we all already know. ( gold is rare, purples a lil rare compared to blues and greens are abundant).

At this stage, if you are keen in knowing more, the voucher 3 thread is better. My suggestion was that, with the individual tables, just add an extra column for percentages ( to be calculated at the end of the exp) and a leader table. You don't need to be a mathematical genius to do this. LOL :D

If you are not keen in knowing more (I am not, by the way, and will not be starting any threads with complicated tables, LOL;)) , IMHO, the table, in this thread, will only keep showing larger numbers and nothing more ( correct me if I am wrong). :)

Usually, the auto save function works perfectly, but in this particular instance only half the text had saved...

I understood what you meant btw, and the main reason for starting this thread off was to prove/disprove that the voucher randomness allocation had noticeably changed for the worse since the fishing update..?? (Or thereabouts) I had received almost non stop green vouchers for four weeks or more (myself and others were whinging a lot I admit) and was just a bit fed up of it...?? There was a "vouchers" thread that was getting a lot of feedback, and that was what brought about this idea... I did try a poll, but that did not work as you can only vote once, which defeated the whole objective...

Considering I normally do between 20 to 30 truck orders most days for jewellery and bullion bar orders, it was verging on the ridiculous... I know what the "normal" randomness is supposed to roughly be, the same as most of us do, but I was curious as to how other folks were getting their vouchers, and in what sort of numbers... Yes, you are correct, the figures will only show accumulative totals, but it is exactly those figures I wanted to know, hence the "running totals"... Lol.

The thread has still only been running a short while, and I'm pleased that people are still inputting every day, because then any disparity that is/maybe there should eventually work it's way through...??? Also, the figures are here for all to see... If you do not want to "know more" that's your choice - to be, or not to be, that is the question..??? I would like believe that the people keep adding for their own curiosity, the same as mine...

The "vouchers (3)" thread was started as a couple of people made enquiries about their own individual counts, rather than the collective, but that is not too popular, so will let that one disappear into the ether....lol. The idea behind that one, was that as you use your vouchers up, their totals from within the game disappear, so I added it for anyone to keep their own permanent record... I have stopped updating on that one now... Some threads and ideas work, others do not... Thanks for your feedback.
