I thought this would be a great idea. Did a quick search and saw a few people being flamed for requesting it because it had already been ruled out by SuperCell ... but I couldn't find a reason why anywhere. I'd love this feature. I don't put my heros to sleep. I only use cc troops for war. Most of my clan mates are in a completely different timezones and trying to arrange a shield before I get troops is a pain. It has meant that I've been sitting out of wars. Being able to toggle the cc troops into sleep mode - so they don't defend & I don't lose them would mean that I can attack in war when I want to. Not try to live my life around when I might be able to get a shield and have my clan mates out of bed and online at the same time to get troops. I can't think of ANY reason why this would have a negative impact on the game ... or why it has been ruled out. Any ideas?

This would be a great feature! A player shouldn't have to remain online constantly to protect their troops, nor can you expect a quick replacement of the lost troops at a moments notice.

I agree. This is needed. There is no negative to it and it makes it much easier to always have a full cc when attacking.

PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
Non-war its hard to find challenging bases so i try to NOT use castle to make up for it. I want to keep castle until i need it, and I often dont get donated.
Especially with new fast troop building and more attacks it would be HUGE to sleep the castle and not lose 6 pigs on a useless defense that I dont care about when they do nothing on defense anyways.
I sleep heroes all the time, why cant i sleep castle?
