I actually love this idea! Add on more detail! Expand it, make SC take notice! This would help loads with the new shield changes for warring clans..

Edit: Yes this is ruled out but it has definitely become worthy of debating weather it could be added (like the name change feature)

"Ruled out" is old news because the last major update changed the whole game! Now we definitely need a way to protect the wartroups from public raids. There are plenty of suggestions how it can be done.
This is a great idea now that using a farming base to get a shield is dead. It's happened to me twice within the last few wars. Request troops just before I'm ready to attack and while I'm waiting (offline at work because we all have lives to live) I get my troops along with a raid that kills them. That means I have to request again, ♥♥♥♥ off one of the guys who is also building an attack, and wait another 20 or so minutes so he can cook my troops. SC has to change it up now that they took shields from town hall off the table.
There is thread about Clan troops bank, that idea is much better idea in my opinion
Troop Bank support Hoppers!
Hoppers can join clan and claim all troops.
But Sleep Mode don't help Hoppers.
