.5 town hall levels

Note: This is not related to the current .5 levels. It is different.

So, here is the problem I want to solve. New town hall levels. Nobody likes them. It's hell trying to find a new clan as a newly upgraded town hall, even if you did max the last one. Mostly due to war. There are a few other problems this will solve as well.

My solution is to either make 22 town hall levels, or split the current ones in half. A half upgrade would unlock some features, and the war weighting wouldn't be drastically affected. This would make town hall upgrades not as big. People wouldn't complain about new town halls anymore. Supercell can decide what to give the half levels.

this would massively affect the current th and how would it be balnanced with say a th 5? would he become a th 10 with the smae defenses? realistly the only thing that might change would be the cost and wait time of time of upgrading.
spilting current ones in half wouldn't hel as it would make th upgrades even bigger and worse in war ,
it would be like a a th 6going to th8 withth6 troops, wouldnt work
offense wouldnt scale woth defense

If they made 22 levels, then yes, a town hall 5 would become a town hall 10 but would not change. A town hall 10 would become a town hall 20. And by splitting in half, I didn't mean 2, 4, 6, etc, I meant 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, etc. So let's say town hall 2 unlocks barbarians and a cannon currently. With my idea, there would be 1.5 and 2. One would unlock barbarians, one would unlock cannons. Basically, the unlocked features would split in half.

If you are truly maxxed most clans would gladly take you if you have great stats on your profile to go along with your fresh th10.

A max th9 with lavas that just turned th10 won't have issues finding a new clan regardless

I was a max town hall 9, and I got my infernos. Now nobody wants me.

By that, I mean I got town hall 10 and my infernos. And by "nobody", that's an exaggeration.

Not really. Maybe confusing for Supercell, but once it's sorted out and the update hits, the members won't see much difference. Upgrading town hall would be the same, except you would just unlock less.

If the only thing to change is that players have less choice about what to upgrade next, what problem would this solve?

That's not the only thing to change. It will help with war weighting. Also, the choice will be back later, at the next town hall level, so I don't see a problem with it.

With lavas? Even at th10 a base with all lavas is rare and special breed. Doing defense upgrades compared to walls is quick and easy.

I'm working on my th9 Legos followed by lavas and it's taking months of dedication lol. On the bright side it gives me time to max my heroes and perfect 3 star th9 war attacks.

Yes. Fully maxed town hall 9. I have been playing for 3 years. I have level 1 and 2 inferno towers so almost nobody wants me.
