Hate this stupid game now, there's no reason to play anymore. I been stuck at 3.5 million gold since this stupid new update. Cant save for anything. I get 200,000-400,000 gold stolen every day. I can't even mine that much per day. The only way I keep it even is by fighting but that cost even more elixir added to what's being stolen from 10 people raid me each day. This is the worse update in this game history. Who ever came up with this idea needs fired asap.
Sadly I agree with you, its nearly impossible to save up for upgrades after this new shield ♥♥♥♥ have gone live. To get a possitive tendensy in ones collectors you need to attack 2-3 times per shield you get. But the problem is that I dont have time for that amount of farm attacks together with cw attacks. And no fail attacks allowed or u get poor really fast.
I will try to drop in trophies and see if that helps, if not I will probably stop playing this game :thumbsdown::thumbsdown: :(
i agree this game is no longer balanced well the update is for the guys at the top does not suit th10 lower I started with around 2m elixir on update sorry to say I've lost the lot under 1 mil how the hell do we carry on like this the game as had its day I think if you can't pay you can't play
Even though I get SMASHED for like 200k of each and me be 1k dark every time I got to school or sleep, AND I don't have time, Supercell actually helped some farmers by trying to remove inactive bases. Inconspicuously, they made it so I only get attacked once in those hours. It is definitely harder to farm now😡😡😡
No, this, in no way, is a good update. It certainly isn't a neutral update either. I hate it. I wish they bring back all those who I can gain loot from. This is not fair. Active and inactive members lose within this premise.
Sad. My poor DE storage has been razed to the ground too many times to count. I'm trying to find any way possible to stop these armies from getting to it. I have researched so many times on my TH 9, and still can not stop these armies up in Crystal 1. I don't want to drop for the loot hit if I do. Everytime I attack, I get raped once my guard is down. I've lost over 15k DE in 24 hours. I've tried 8 different base layouts and still no avail. Giants/Heals/Jumps is almost impossible to stop them getting there. I stick my gold and elixir on the outer edge to try to get other farmers to take that. But nope.
I'm full skull walls with 65 lego walls in the process. I'm not rushed both my heroes are level 11. My air Defenses/teslas/cannons are maxed. I have 1 maxed wiz tower and 2 maxed archer towers. Both my sweepers are level 4. All storages and resource producers are maxed. All my research is done and troops maxed at th9. I use all my elixir for my army and walls right now. All gold is used for my defense upgrades. I upgrade as soon as I can get an upgrade.

I personally like this new update, now you can't hide behind your shield.
The whole point of the game is attack and be attacked, if you can't handle that then quit the game.
This Update Really Sucks! There's No Loot You Need To Spend 100K To Get The Loot Get 200K Back Get Raided 150K Gone Lost-50K! This Game Is Pushing You To Play A Lot! I Agree Supercell Needs To Put The Original update Back! The Funny Thing Is ow You Can Hold 10 Million Now! This update does favor the higher level bases. I recently got town hall 9, and I am not rushed. I'm getting stomped by maxed out town hall 9 and town hall 10. I lose about 200k gold and elixir and 1.5k dark elixir per defense. I tried dropping trophies, and I still lost the same amount. I can't gain loot because every time i gain 200k, i lose that much or more. Previously, I could have left my town hall on the outside to avoid beig raided by significantly stronger bases.

People are not outraged that Supercell wanted to enhance the strategic part of the game, but for the fact that the game is now isolated for Higher THs and people who have the ca$h to participate in the new competitive system.Quote:

I'm only at TH8, even though I have placed all my elixir storage outside with my townhall,(its useless except for army) the TH9's just keep coming in for the kill. I was almost ready to upgrade to TH9, but its now so hard to save any gold or DE, that I am just going to call it quits on this game. I guess Supercell wants us all to gem past TH8, let someone else do that.Quote:

I agree that the new update sucks for farmers mostly,but I also agree with what kickkflk said..bad base setup and rushed base can also make you loose loot,but I would want u guys to bring back inactive bases for better farming and besides this updates is only in favour to th10 and above players which isnt good.

the new updates makes you attack whenever you want and you can steal a lot of recourses I am farming dark elixir and they steal 1,500 from me but when I attack 2 times I get 3,000 or 4,000 and if your getting three stared fix your base or your rushed and the game was not made so people rushed to town hall 11 and the game was never made for town hall sniping I was a farmer and now this new update lets me attack when I want and it is more flexible to attack
If supercell did this update it was not for the money and the whole point of clash of clans is to get loot know how to attack and the only reason people are complaining is because they where lazy attackers and only went for town hall snipes and if your rushed then you hate this update but if you know how to attack and didn't town hall snipe this update is really goodQuote:

I think the main taget behind this upgrade is to make ppl play more.
Now if you want to save resources you should attck at least 5-6 time per day + attack in the correct time: While you have sheild.
I have 3 accounts: 1 TH10 almost max, other 2 are middle TH8. Since the upgrade I play actively only with the main account (TH10). with the others I login once a day. Waste all the gold on walls, and if possible on other upgrade.

It is a pretty easy fix. Once you have a shield you should be able to attack and not lose any of your shield.Quote:

If you guys don't like the game then LEAVE! We don't go on the forums just to hear you whine about how you hate the game. Supercell released this update because the game wasn't originally meant for farming. If you want to farm go play Hay Day. You obviously aren't true Clashers. Just give the game another chance and try to adapt. Alot of us don't like it but at least we don't complain. And Supercell needs support at this time too, when haters are quitting the game and posting hate messages. Go Clash of Clans!:p

The new update isn't quitte what I have expected to be. I thought it would be awesome but so far it is quitte disappointing. First of all, if you have to save elixir to upgrade Giants, archers or dragons, I won't be able to do so. If I have 5 million, I lose about 600k in a raid what means I have to raid every hour and even then it is tough to save it. The problem is that most raiders are significant higher in experience level and have better (stronger) troops. For me, starter TH9 and XP level 94 it is very hard to collect gold and elixir. Though the game is changed for a reason. However I don't think we should go back to the old system, the only option for the team is to consider to decrease the price of upgrades like wizz towers, airdefense and other defense equipment. If the costs for upgrades drop with 25 or 30%, the game will stay interesting for farmers. Decrease the costs for upgrade troops as well. If you can lower the costs for recharging bombs and X-bows, what isn't helping in savings, the team should really think about this. It will be a little easier to achieve upgrades. Also lower the cost on walls as well. When you want to keep all the players satisfied, this will help. Lower costs will be for every one a good option without doing harm to the upgrade.
A second thought about shields, if a player loses more then 30% of its loot and there is no damagerate of 30%, give the player a shield for 8 hours. Or come with a plan to see what can be done for that.
I really hate the new shield concept and everything that comes with it.

Most of you guys seem like a bunch of cry-babies. Yes the update killed th sniping, yes the update introduced shields that are quite annoying, but it's playable and does not require you to grind the game. This update requires you, to search (in rankings) and attack hard. It is a little harder to get by with the loot, but unless your town halls are rushed and your defenses are so weak that a simple raid can get all of your loot, I think you guys need to rethink your strategy.
I've noticed a lot of people saying, that they can't get loot to upgrade. I've became a th8 pretty recently after I 100% maxed out Town hall 7, and been constantly having all of my 5 workers 24/7. Now, don't get me wrong, I do not grind the game. I make at most 3-5 attacks a day, I simply attack harder bases than I should. I don't aim for 3 stars, I just aim for the loot.
Sometimes there's non, sometimes there's a lot, I just simply don't see inactive villages with 500k loot that you could get with 50 archers and I have to use a big army and strategy to get that loot. I hit maxed town hall 8's for 2 stars and get as much loot as possible.
If a person who has 2 jobs, a family and extra studies in the university, can get enough loot to upgrade my defenses and offences, even if sometimes I need to delay for a day or two.. why can't you?

As soon as I get any gold, I'm having to spend it on walls just to save it all being raided. Plus I can't see any possible way to upgrade to th10 without making the game unplayable.
2 days ago I'd have agreed with you, but not anymore, it's better than ever, I never get such ressources as now ! You just need to make some ajusting. I find a lot of village with awesome loot, the defense system is really good, hope the all system won't change. Instead whining, try to adapt yourself to the new system. Time you spend whining, spend it to try the new system and you'll be rewarded, trust me.
There is quite a lot of loot in the game, you just need to move out of your favorite trophies to either a little highter or a little lower and attack with a normal army, not a 60 barb 140 arch army. I attack for loot, usually don't get more than 2 stars, but look at this few days of loot:Quote:

This update made inactive bases gone, but it does not mean that there's no loot. You just need to search a little longer and attack a lot harder to get the loot. I don't know what you guys are whining about for lower levels and I have no idea how loot is at very high trophies, but I'm currently at Th8 and even though this update started out really rough for me, in general it gave a lot more in the end.
