it would depend a lot on the base you are hitting
but generally your L4 Hogs will be your most useful tool.
The link doesn't work just by clicking on it. Then, when I cut and paste it into the browser, the pic is so small, it's not usable
Try using an Asian wall-2 giants to tank, and spread your hogs. Look it up, easy to execute.
I don't see a reason to use two giants to tank, especially when you have your king for that. Level 5 giants just don't have the stats to justify it. Pull the CC, double poison it, launch your hogs in one or two streams and keep them under heals the whole time. I generally run 44 hogs, 2 archers, and 3 goblins.. those are good at finding annoying things left out by bad players on clean up. Well executed you should have about 25-30 hogs on cleanup.
Separate?
I watch hog runs with 30 fail literally ALL THE TIME. It's painful to watch (always from the opponents). Dark drain? Dude, it's like 1000 more DE for two raids once every two days at a TH level where DE barely matters. Other troops won't help if 30 hogs don't get there, more hogs do. Expense is NEVER a factor in war attacks.. At least in my clan. If anyone doesn't agree with that, I replace them.. There's are reasons we haven't lost a war in like four months now.
And yeah, you didn't time it right. Drop the level 2, then wait about 13 seconds, and use the level 4 while the level 2 is doing full damage right before it ends. Your dragon is dead.
Then use more hogs, don't be a miser in a video game.
