This is clash of clans , not skype.. Also having voice chat systems needs there own servers, which is really pricey
I like the idea, I've seen other video games with some sort of voice chat system (which I cannot list here).
(But the post above me is correct too.)
Some of my suggestions for it
Maybe a button for the clan leader for enabling/disabling the usage of voice chat in their clan.
And for elders and leader they can make it so certian people are not allowed to use voice chat.
For members they could each have a button to have voice chat on/off of their mic is mute or not.
supercell alredy has servers so it might work but it would take a long time to ipliment into the game and it might not be possible because the connection would be VERY bad so sorry but they wont waste their time on this when they could be making other games and better updates for this game that are easier to make
Yes this is a super old thread, but my clan leader and I just had the same idea about Voice Chat. Yes, we need different servers for this feature which would cost some money from their pockets, but think about it, Supercell makes so much money already (look at all the gemmers :D). I agree with this idea!
Seriously, this will just take up unnecessary space on the servers. Think about itQuote:

Sorry, but the SC would really not implement this in the game. Because first of all: it would be very complicated and might be very noisy. Like what one said, "This is Clash of Clans... Not Skype". And Lastly, this is a very wide and hard thing to do. SC needs to completely change everything, buy new servers, update and update all the time and it is just Complicated. Although, I thought of this a long time ago but, this will never happen.
yes.. refer to my clan to clan chat instead
