Idea for post update world that would make it tolerable for most

More shield changes
Shield length scaled by % done (Maybe a 10% troop deployment barrier as a safety net)
1% 4 hour shield scales to 16 hour shield for 100% No plateaus, just scaled to the minute for shields.
29% would grant a 8 hour 38 minute shield
I would use the formula %(16 hours) + 4 hours base
Reduce Griefing of by player base
Loot Bonus simplified
1 star - 75% bonus
2 star - 125% bonus
3 star - 175% bonus
Incentivize moving up in league
Starting at crystal have added incentives
C3 5% reduce in cook times(Hero, Barracks, Spells)
C2 7.5%
C1 10%
M3 12.5%
M2 15%
M1 20%
Champ3 25%
Champ2 30%
Champ1 35%
Titan3 40%
Titan2 45%
Titan1 50%
Would not stack with boost, whichever is greater comes into play.
Heroes are more important then ever, change altars to workshops.
When upgrading their weapon is being upgraded, they could be used in a lesser capacity.
Not available for defense at all, available in a lesser capacity for offense.
I would call the effective levels the ability upgrade ones (5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40) and would allow them to be used at 2 level abilities before starting at level 10.
For Example Upgrading a king to 34, can be used at an effective level of 25 on offense. Upgrading to 36 would function as a level 30.
With workshop being used to ugprade healing time scales upward to double, maybe not boostable.
Still leaves a large incentive to gem them for war if needed, but allows a version of them to be available for new farming attacks as well as war.
Maybe a 2nd spell factory for all.
TLDR Incentivize us for doing storage attacks and simplify the game and reducing ability to grief.
