Small little tweak that could be helpful.
Meh...may I ask, why should the hero be nerfed in this way / spring traps be buffed in this way? I personally disagree with the idea but I am rather perplexed as to the reasoning behind it.
It doesn't really nerf the hero, it has 0 effect on the hero even if it was activated, I'm just saying this is just a simple thing that could be implemented. It would save us some trap rearm cost. It's also pointless for the spring trap to activate if it isn't going to have an effect on the hero.
It is a pressure plate, and when a person puts pressure on it, it trips it, regardless on if it a small person or a giant,
Just like you can set off antipersonnel mines with a tank tread. The mine doesn't bother the tank a bit, but still gets triggered.
It makes more sense for a trap, that is in of itself rather dumb, to get tripped by practically anyone that gets within range; than it is to somehow make it more complex and not trip when it isn't ideal.
You can't have it both ways. People come up with these ideas shortly after being somewhat miffed by a defense loss, and wish their defenses had that advantage. They often don't stop and think how it will affect their own attacks.
So do you really want to tip the power towards all defenses being more effective? Remember, if that was put in, your big Heroes can't protect your troops from Spring Traps like they used to. That Barbarian King walking a little faster than the group of giants he is with, tripping Spring Traps, isn't going to happen anymore.
