There is an incentive for going up in leagues. Go to champs 3 get 1hr village guard and anyone will farm nice and easy with the bonus loot 200k gold/200k lix/1220 dark. Add that to a meager 300k/300k/2500 raid do it 3 or 4 times per sheild and your laughing.Quote:

I'd love to have a bookmark/favorite thread feature so I don't have a browser bookmark folder full of links that only is acceptable mostly in one spot (my computer or smartphone) and could possibly share what idea threads of interest I've ran into. Yes, I have an idea thread for that too, but will not shamelessly link it as well. :p
I'm aware of what I'm doing, and only 'advertise' where it is mostly fitting. Not about to post unrelated or grossly unsolicited links everywhere. :eek: That'd just be purely spamming, and no one wants that, and is against forum rules. You don't have to click on the links, you know. :smirk: But obviously I would like it if you did. ;)
Me too, I just don't think this is needed due to it being "unnecessary". But to be honest, whats killing for them? The fact that collector raids are gone or something and they need to learn to attack storage bases? To be honest, I'm having a bit of difficulty farming. All they gotta do is practise using gibarch (highly recommended) and get those storages. Barch was too much for SC if you know what I'm saying. It took barely any skill and resources.Quote:

Let me divide my arguments in different points in order to check if we agree or disagree in each of them. And I will also divide my arguments into the practical arguments and the more subjective ones.
Starting with the issues and moving on to my suggestion and practical arguments.
Issue 1: high level TH are dropping trophies in the search of dead bases.
We can already here disagree if this is a issue or not. However I tend to classify it as a real problem in the game. The situation in the bronze ans silver league now is many players drop cups in your base. And come on, it is pretty the reason: all of them are searching abandoned or rushed THs. If you think about that the game have a challenge which consists in defending successfully against a N number of player, this trophy dropping things sound as a ♥♥♥♥♥.
My suggestion: introduce in the game a new feature in the game that I am here calling the FARMING MODE. And before I explain it, I want so emphasize that the main goal of my suggestion is to unequivocally encourage farm minded high TH level players to go up on trophies.
How it works: Instead of a "Next" button we would be able to set a "Push" (the same way it is now) or a "Farm" button. This new Farm Mode would: 1- allow to search in the match-making with equal probability any base from our current league a below (the higher weight for TH of same level keep the same). 2-it would give ANY trophy and, immortality 3- have a higher weight in the match-making for bases with high available loot.
Now, before I comment on the benefits of this new feature, let me debunk the first criticism that most people may have by reading up to here: "This will make Farming too easy!".
I say it wont because: 1 - SC will have the power to control how easy and how hard it will be by fine-tuning the match-making weight as they find it fits and 2 - this system will keep the current weight in the match-making for TH of same level. In the Farming Mode the players will still keep finding TH of the same level more often than not. The advantage to the farmer is that they will find more often Storage Raids and they will have chances to find their beloved abandoned bases in any league as far they keep up in the cups.
The benefits:
1- Farmers would climb in cups.
2- More attacks across the leagues. (I am a full TH 10 sitting the gold league and no one attack my base because it is too difficult for the local trophy pusher and farmer. But my base could be nice to farm from a player in Titan).
3- Trophies would have a values for any kind of player.
Maybe one criticism could be: "It is unfair for the defender".
My answer is: there is no difference for the defender to lose loot for a strong TH that doped trophies or to the same TH but instead siting in the Titan league. They will lose anyway. And furthermore, with the new shield system (which I loved) this player can recover from the lost.
I would go to my subjective arguments, but I now I have to league. I write it here late.
