Reward system instead of punishment
One of the main problems is that players don't push for trophys because it isn't that atractive the league bonus comparing to all the resourses they need to spend in troops and spells. Here are 2 suggestions to change that.
1. As there isn't too many villages available you can make "ghost" villages, by duplicating existant villages (you can make a defense contest as well to take the best ones" the trophys awarded must come from the game.
2. To make things attractive make some "bonus" villages, loaded according league, gives no trophys or league bonus, but an important loot, you can do them inspired in the ones in the map or seasonal. The important thing is people can find them occasionally, of course to incentive players to push trophys the idea is that as higher league or trophys, higher is the loot and frecuency to find them.
this way people won't care about farming so much, because the main problem is to get resources they need to make improvements.
