Agreed I have had very few positive responses from mature members based on post counts on this forum. Thats in many areas of the forum.
This is a game based on destruction and theft and who is the best at these 2 things in either war, cups and farming so not surprising some of this attitude ends up on the forum.
I have experienced a lot of aggression and unfortunately in some cases i have replied in kind under certain circumstances. i come to the forum for useful information and have been for almost a year as you can see my posts do not reflect that i visit here once a day.
I attempt to help when I have time as some constructive members have helped me but only if i feel i can. I have on occasion had people try to humiliate me and still add no constructive help to the person asking the question.
I had given this forum up as nothing more than a gossip magazine with very rare useful gems of information until someone helped me more than i thought would ever happen here and I have now attempted to offer very guarded advice based on my experience.
I am am only here now to see about the recent scandal as some people appear to be dropping into my trophy range and i was looking for an update.
P.s not looking for sympathy just stating a point of view of a certain area of the community here
Glad to see this had an effect :D
Everything I say is to prove either that its a good idea or that its bad.. No rude comments.
yes, please think before you post and if you don't have anything constructive/useful to say, don't say it.
also, posts don't really mean that much so don't judge players based on their post number and don't think you are better then a member with less posts then you. please do try to always be respectful and talk to every forumer as your equal.
I'm glad this thread has been revived, because it seems people need constant reminding.
Not only are rude comments against the rules, but it is also clearly spelt out in a sticky in this sub forum.
When giving feedback to an idea, please don't say "terrible idea" and not give constructive criticism such as "I disagree with this because...."
Also, if someone gives you polite, constructive feedback on your idea, please don't take offence, and respond rudely. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
If any of you see a rude response, or a ruled out idea, please report it by clicking the triangle on the bottom of the post so a mod can take action. There's no need to post pointless responses such as "wrong sub forum" or "ruled out, read the sticky" as this just bumps the thread to the top.
Cheers, Tink
Agree. Brand new members posting ideas do not know how the place works and should not have their head bitten off.
I only bite heads off members with several posts who post dumb things. :p
