Start buildings at higher level

At town hall nine I get a couple new buildings would be nice if you can start building at what ever level you want. What I mean by this is if you get a new archer tower you can start building a level 5 and it takes what ever the gold cost is for 1-5 and days for 1-5 whatever that would be and combine them to start archer tower straight to level 5

Yes, that's a pretty good idea.

Would like this too, but it is too close to a Ruled Out Idea or two, and wouldn't be as much of a gain for the work put into it. :(

If we could queue up upgrades, then that would solve that issue, but it's Ruled Out.
