Barbarian and Archer Failure: Placing? (Video)

Hi. I got a new army which is mainly Barbarians and Archers (45-35) and a smaller amount of other troops (giants, wall breakers, goblins and balloons.)

In the video, I used the Wall Breakers to blow a gap in the wall and then sent Barbarians and Archers through the gap but they all went hitting the gold mine and the army camp and a few barracks and I ended up expending the vast majority of the army to get 8% damage.

This seems to happen to me all the time, how do you place the troops to go where you need (the TH in this case) instead of hitting passive buildings and getting killed?
