What's the best item you've ever grabbed from a random roadside shop, and how much was there?
I recently saw an ad for 10 planks. Amazingly, there were 25 more in the shop, so I grabbed 35 planks altogether. This was pretty awesome since my farm never gives me anything but nails and bolts.
I remember visiting a random farm from the global leader board and came across this farm with nothing but BEMs. There must've been at least 50 silo and 50 barn materials just sitting there. I couldn't press my phone fast enough lol. It was obviously not advertised and was probably for a friend or neighbor but whatever, if it's there...I'm buying. Guess I'm that guy :/

My best find was when I was on my last section of land to clear. I had been looking for marker stakes in the DD, feeding animals and crop gathering of course getting discouraged. I finally decided the day before to quit looking just let it happen when it would. I went browsing the paper not in a hurry and there they were 10 marker stakes and 2 mallets all at base price. I couldn't believe it. Snapped them right up. I sold the left over mallets and stakes for full price and came out in the green. Good times.
10 deeds, 10 mallets, and 10 marker stakes. Don't remember the price, but who cares?! :)
Also, the other day I've grabbed 2 times 10 diamond rings from 2 separate shops. Both were max price, but again, who cares?
Newspaper is usually difficult to browse, but at all times it was possible to find some good stuff there, if you just read all ads one by one. By reading I mean tapping those and scrolling shops from one end to enother.
1-coin expansion item! but the 200-coin for 10 cocoa or blackberries usually makes me real happy too.

I clicked on an ad for 10 shovels for 900. I was surprised to see someone selling a stack of 10 shovels, so I clicked on the ad thinking they would be gone by the time I got there.
Not only was it not gone, but there were 80 shovels in there. 80! 8 stacks of 10 for 900 each. I'm browsing the marketplace A LOT and I don't know if I've ever seen one stack of ten in a store before, much less 80. Not only that, but the shop was filled with pretty much every type of food at default price -- jams, ice creams, cakes, pies. Plus a stack of 10 screws for 2500. Good thing I had something like 200 free inventory spots. I was able to take it all.
I'm going to have an inventory problem now with all those shovels, but I'll deal with it :D
I found a farm on the leader board once, selling stacks of 10 diamond rings. Was like 4 stacks. Bad thing is I just hired Tom to get me those, so I couldn't keep all of them, no space :(
Some time I also found a shop in the newspaper, selling lots of the best things, food etc., ten in each stack. Too bad I never have enough room for nothing in my barn!
