Parallel wars in the one clan sounds like too great a leadership challenge.
Better, I think, to have officially designated sister clans, with a superclan chat, where members may move freely amongst the sister clans, each sister clan with its own leader. A sister clan could form for the sole basis of warring on a particular day, in parallel. This would achieve the same objective as the original post.

I like the idea. However I think there are more important things to change, add and all around fix first. But as I said I like it. And I'd like to see it in the future.
