In spectator mode we can see our position and points gained (2nd tab of derby) ONLY.
But we CAN'T see which task our teammates took or avalible tasks for teammates (1st tab of derby), and we also CAN'T see derby task log.

First, I don't see this as a "bug" in the game, so IMO, this post should have been placed elsewhere, like maybe in the Derby section.
I don't see the problem, or the unfairness, not having the ability to see everything going on in the derby if one is opted out.
If one is opted out, why do they need to see what tasks are available, who is doing what tasks, and how many tasks and for how many total points each participant has done?
I do understand that knowing which tasks are being done could allow you to help by possibly providing items that would help complete the task, but that can done simply by posting in chat asking if anyone needs anything to help them complete their task, or by asking if anyone is doing a help task because you have a lot of trees/bushes you can flag for them.
The fact that we can see where the NH is placing at any given time is a recent change...it used to be that absolutely nothing was able to be seen if one opted out.
Yes, it is spectator mode, meaning you are watching from the side lines, so no need to see who is doing what.
If the leader feels that strongly about making sure their rules of doing only tasks that are 300+ points, then maybe they shouldn't opt out. And if the leader and/or co-leaders need to watch their members' every move, that's not very trusting of them, is it?
I'm opted out for the rest of this year due to Christmas plans and I'm a co-leader in my NH, the other co-leader does not really enjoy the derby, so she is opted out 99% of the time, and I believe our leader is also opted out, due to Christmas plans. That leaves just our regular members participating right now and we are all just fine with that...no need to keep such strong tabs on our NH as we all agree on how we all prefer to play and we trust they will do the very best they can during each derby.
Actually there is a way to see the task log tab... Opt in for next derby now and it will appear right after a message flashes up to say opted out players cannot see it, then just opt out after you don't want to see it anymore before next derby starts... Shhhh, it's probably a bug but nicer if they don't fix too soon :)
If you really want to know, why don't you ask a fellow hoodie to send you screenshots highlight how the derby is going?
Are you the leader/co-leader of your NH?
If you want to keep track of that info, could you ask another co-leader who's opted in to monitor it instead? And let everyone know in the chat that this person will be keeping an eye on derby progress while you're opted out.
