Ever since the update I have been lacking in elixir. Since the update focuses on real strategic attacks I always get smashed by armies that are more than capable of raiding my base (you can only choose to be able to defend against so many compositions).
So I am in the endless cycle of raiding a couple times then losing my shield and getting attacked. Except because I usually get smacked for two stars or more I end up losing a large amount of elixir. So in a new shield I decide to raid again. I raid and earn almost all of my elixir I lost back. But there is a problem. If I'm only earning the elixir I lost, then overall I am losing elixir due to my army costing a certain sum of elixir.
Which brings me to my suggestion.
1. You know how all of your troops pop and turn into elixir at the end of every raid? Well what if the defender earned that elixir? (At least a percentage of it)
2. This would enable us to earn back some of the lost elixir that could help take the edge off of training our next army. That way we can start to gain elixir and not just sit exactly where we are never gaining elixir and struggling to maintain it.
3. For example: Say we earn back 20 percent of the attacking troops elixir. An all dragon army (let's just say level 4 dragons for now because I know their cost off the top of my head) So someone uses 11 level 4 dragons to attack your base. Each dragon costs 37k so 11 of them would put you around 407k as a total cost. 20% of that would be 81.4k certainly enough to take the edge off your next attack to try and earn back all that elixir his dragons just burned out of your storages.
4. This bonus could be earned lose OR win, because let's face it, as a townhall 9 with level 8 walls there's really no chance of successfully defending a good Gi-heal.
5. Any thoughts or suggestions?
