My clan and I think it would be extremely helpful to change the way recommend target comes up during war. I'm not real techy so don't know how hard it would be for you to make it so that Leaders and Co leaders could assign targets to their clan mates during war. Any thoughts? Yea I know. You're going to say that more experienced members already know how and who to hit. But our clan is new and we take in new people all the time. Explaining to the who to hit everytime isn't easy.
Assignments? As in forced to attack x base or just a suggestion?
My clan really needs this. I like this idea as long as they aren't forced to attack the target.:thumbsup:
No not forced. Just changing who assigns the recommended target from the computer to the actual leader and CO's
I mean, I guess it'd be okay, but it's sort of redundant with clash caller and third party communication apps, so I don't think this is needed. Sorry.Quote:

It has been mentioned before, and maybe SC is thinking about it for the next update, since people are speculating that the next update (among needed fixes) could have a good amount of Clan War updates.
The hardest part on programing such a feature is making a sleek user interface for it that matched the rest of the interface theme. Note: the user interface has to work with many kinds of devices, and their different screen sizes.
Just because some clans use those, doesn't mean they all do. I could never get my clan to use clash caller, and there are probably other clans like that.Quote:

CoC is played on devices that support myriad functions. No need really. My issue with including it in-game, is it has to have layers of comms we can select (like groups of people not related to rank) or our current methods will prevail.Quote:

If the enemy clan looks troublesome then leadership discusses targetting outside game, in private to some extent.
If the enemy clan doesn't look special, our clan war field marshal uses one of our several standard targetting strategies.
A clan mail goes out mid prep day, followups during battle day, early and late.
Clan members know they will be given targets or a choice of a few and like this level of control. If a clan mail is missed, they complain in chat.
