Hi I'd like to make a poll regarding best CC troops, for the sake of it let's assume all troops are max level and you have 25 space for CC. I personally think 20 archers and 1 balloon is the perfect combo, as anyone who uses swarms of barbs/goblins will have no way to beat you and you aren't destroyed by swarms of archers before taking a good chunk out. Let me know how you feel. If you don't like any of the options click other and comment below please!

Im new here guys, I'm just wondering what determines if your defence lost? People are attacking my base and my defences are killing all of the attackers but it still says my defence lost?

The attacker has 3 stars to achieve when they attack you. If they achieve at least 1 star your defence has 'lost'.Quote:

All archers, i find them very useful in defending my base. Enemy soldiers will attack each archer individually (When they begin attacking em), so it takes a while to kill the clan castle troops. Meanwhile, the defenses are having a great time picking off the enemy army.
Also, archers can shoot behind walls (If they dont jump over them...), so they have a few seconds to get some good shots at the enemy... :cool:

Well I thought I'd just click something to see the poll...& I find that theres 3 other people who clicked on healer as defence:eek:.
Ps. I've never seen a healer in defence or used one in defence. Lol
I couldn't resist commenting, because I've actually seen a healer in defense, once! It took me a second to realize that it really IS happening and the thing is hovering out from the cc. That was one of the most epic attack moments ever ;)Quote:

Healers, on defence she heals buildings.
Watching a maxed healer fix my TH faster than a group of giants could damage it was funny for me, I felt bad for the attacker, dude would've been crying lol
1 dragon and 5 archers = Win for me
Fill the archers back up after each attack, the dragon should survive a few
Most of the time when a dragon isn't available, 25 archers should do nicely :)

Any other donation irritates me when I want to log off.

Defiantly dragon....they can wipe out 30-40 archers I think 0.0

Personal favorite is 2 Giants and rest Archers. Giants act as a nice distraction which allow archers to last longer than Archers alone. Training is cheap and quick (I concur Dragons are better but definitely not cheap or quick), and I can expect my clan members to have them available to donate 24/7.
Ideally: Dragon&Archers or PEKKA
Realistically: 2 Giants & Archers
I'm going to agree with those who said 25 archers.
I choose between all out archers, or tier 3 troops (Healers, Dragons, Pekkas).
I vote for 'others' :)

no one ever anticipates the emergence of the dragon, and the archers are great at picking off the goblins. When no dragons are available, i like 25 archers.
on another note, use wall breakers for defense sometime...watching the little guys run after invaders and blow them up is adorable...you can almost here them sating "look! I have a present for you!"
Sneaky, thanks for sharing about healers healing buildings...I didn't know that, and I am sure my clan mates will be interested to learn of it as well. :cool:
Definitely 20 archers and a balloon for me.
Though it's hard to find someone to give me the balloon.
This is my fav thing to do. 25 level 3 wall breakers I get in my CC. When they attack, they come out, one by one, and boom,boom and boom. :cool:
