A week after each update Supercell should have a poll pop up for people to tell how they like the update, I believe many more people like the update than hate it, but those that hate it have more reason to get on the forums and complain than those who like it. I wouldnt mind tapping 3 extra times every few months
It doesn't take much to process polls. At least compared to the server loads of raiding, action verification to prevent haxors, and so on and do forth. Issue I see is it just being unsolicited clutter that annoyes players.
Seems like a good idea at first, but until I put myself in the point of view of someone just wanting to play, it has questionable results at best.
Besides, SC already gets a ton of options from people via the social media sites they are on, as well as on this forum. Plus direct contact to people that have made it more than a hobby to keep track of the pulse of the game community.
Sorry.. just kind of thinking 'out loud' as I type, and keep coming up with more things as I go. I technically didn't think about just how connected SC was until just a moment ago.
This seems like a nice idea. I wouldn't mind at all spending a couple minutes of my time filling out a poll/survey on the update. Supercell could then collect in statistics to see how well they are doing.
Why not use this forum instead?
A modification to the idea.
Offer 1-3 gems for filling out a survey. Not a lot of gems so people give B.S. answers, but enough to grab people's attention, and be rewarded for doing them. And nothing too complex in setup.
But idk how well that'll work out. The idea just kind of hit me a moment ago.
This is a good idea but it needs to have option in the poll, maybe a write in.
Write-ins are hard to quantify in large volumes. They currently have a hard enough time as it is getting their automated message reader for their customer support to understand the difference between a frivolous rant, and a real bug report.Quote:
