FZ is finally here for TH9, providing a modified design of FZ TH8 and more hardcore protection of loot without harming Anti 3 Star capabilities!
Main additions:
Anti-GoLavaLoon (ie. Golems, Lavahounds and Balloons)
The newest, most popular and powerful attack:
The most widely used troop combo is: 2 Golems, 2 Lavas, 8 Wizards, rest Balloons and 1 more Lavahound in clan castle.
GoLavaLoon, comprises of 3 steps:
- Use Golems, Wizards, Heroes and one to two spells to take down enemy Archer Queen and as many possible air defences.
- After Step 1. atleast 1 air defence and enemy Queen should be destroyed, We then drop a standard lavaloonion on the remaining air defences.
How this base defends GoLavaLoon
The major requirement of GLL, is to destroy enemy queen and an airdefence with GoWi, which is near impossible as defending queen is out of range of all air defenses and has a Queen's Island (ie. Queen has her own compartment and never comes out of it.)
All the air defences are far apart preventing someone from destroying more than one with GoWi. Air defences are out of range of wizard towers hence making wizard towers using their splash damage efficiently on balloons, unlureable cc prevents GLL to an extent too. Queen is faraway from air defenses hence attacks balloons and not lavahounds.

How does it work?
As a TH9, the most frequent and powerful attack strategies are :
GoHo (ie. Golems, Hogs and Wizards.)
This base has 3 well-pathed double giant bomb placements possible and an unlureable clan castle. Plus well placed spring traps are against Surgical placement. Skeletons are also strategically placed in spots where hogs may be over-powering.
See the image below, every hog entrance meet is with a well pathed spring trap, the major intersections have double giant bombs.

GoWiPe (ie. Golems, Wizards and Pekkas)
Lots of compartments and unlureable clan castle prevent a 3 Star. Golem pathing is also present to an extent. On testing it is majorly seen that Wizards and Pekkas get seperated from Golems.
GoWiWi (ie. Golems, Wizards and Witches)
Lots of compartments and unlureable clan castle prevent a 3 Star. Golem pathing is also present to an extent. On testing it is majorly seen that Wizards and Witches get seperated from Golems. Witches due to their slightly longer range than Wizards, attack buildings and stop where Wizards just move on, hence isolating themselves and getting killed.
Lavaloonion (ie, Lavahounds, balloons & minions)
Air defences are out of range of wizard towers hence making wizard towers using their splash damage efficiently on balloons, unlureable cc prevents lavaloonion to an extent too. Queen is faraway from air defenses hence attacking balloons and not lavahounds.

New TH8.5 dedicated version for War protection!
Features an unlureable CC.

Farming Version for TH9
New farming dedicated version for enhanced DE protection!
Features an unlureable CC and centralized DE for maximum protection.
Suitable until 2800 trophies, might be ineffective against heavy attacks at higher leagues.
