How to play as early TH9 after the update? Any advice?

Hi guys,

I just upgraded to th9. I was able to skull all of my walls, do 3 campfire upgrades, buy 1 x-bow, and start upgrading my barb before the update.

I was in Crystal 3, but since the update I've been attacked pretty hard. My defenses are too weak to withstand th9 giants/barb attacks and th 10 attackers.

So I went down to Gold 2 now but every time I attack th9's, I get revenged and loose more than I managed to gain.

It seems like my only affective strategy is to bully on th8s, knowing that they can't revenge me due to their army comp.
I don't really like doing this, because the th9's and th10's are doing this to me.

That being said, I get attacked like every hour, most of the time they take 100K of each and I get no shield.

I cook up my troops and when I attack, I end up loosing almost the same amount within an hour of attack. And the constant hourly attack combined which don't give me the shield. (sometimes it does though..)

It's a lot better down in gold II, but I still get nailed with th9's giant/barch or the occasional th10's.


Could anyone give me suggestions on what to do? It seems that every time I make loot, someone comes over and takes it. Just seems really slow and there must be a better way?

In terms of defense I just can't compete with a normal th9 attacks. With level 6 giants/archer/barbs, and heal/jump/rage with heros, my defense just can't hold against it.

I see on the forum that some guys are doing great after the update. If someone could offer some suggestions on how to play after the update, it would be much appreciated.

I'm a almost maxed TH9, L19&23 hero's, more than 50% L10 walls, in champs.... I'm either going to drop down to silver and beat up on rushed TH8s or just quit playing.... Haven't made up my mind.

I'm TH9 and I don't know why all these questions already if there's a lot of loot to be made with snipes.
1100-1200 Trophy range is fine.

This has been irritating me that this is what people are doing, but unfortunately I am going to have to do the same. I'm maxed TH9 minus 50 walls and my heroes are 22/23 and looks like at this point they wontko be getting upgraded anytime soon

Im a fresh th10 and im at a standstill also. Only bases to hit for 3-400k each are way too hard I'd be lucky to get 75% usually stuck settling for 50% loot and very little profit.

That being said th9 is quite a bit easier to attack compared to th10 so you should be alright. Just have to attack a lot is all. At th10 I don't have that ability cause I'm training war Attacks to make very little profit. Killed farming.

i used to make loads farming. Farmed over 5 million de at th9. Th10s farming is absolute balls. Big sweaty hairy balls covered in genital warts.

I have a same problem right now. From Master III now on Silver I. My laboratory will be finish upgrading in 5 hours. What troop should I upgrade first? Giant?

I have the same question. Before the update if you are barcher a lot of people said upgrade barb/arch first. But after the update I'm also thinking I should upgrade my Giants so I can attach th8's with minimum troop cost.

Any thoughts anyone?

I always did Giants first cause I used them to raid almost always. Now with the lack of dead bases to barch, yes Giants would be the most logical troop to upgrade first.
