So while I was just at gym an hour ago, I only popped onto clash while I was taking a p*♥♥ to donate then went offline again... Once I got home I finally went to open clash, but had the "Break" message so I couldn't play for awhile, then it went away, so I popped on for 1 raid before my shower... Then after my shower I signed in and got the message "You have been online too long and will soon be kicked out for a few minutes"... GET STUFFED!? Can I please just play the damn game!?
This *$#&%@ game is getting more complicated. The Break Ending message doesn't make sense, no one knows if no one explain. My friends think this is a bug when he first login, he got that message right away. i hate doing math, time to move on, bye

Hey guys, lvl 130 Th10 here, software engineer and think of myself as a pretty reasonable person. First let me explain the scenario to see if it makes sense:
So I pop in a movie and decide to do some boosting (e.g. boost all of my offense buildings, and get in as many attacks as possible before boost runs out). I do this twice during the movie since the boost is only 1 hr long now. Movie is over and I decide hey, I'm not tired, lets go another round and watch some more movies.....
So I boost everything, and while I am waiting for my troops to build the game disconnects because I wasn't playing - completely normal. I try to come back in after 5 minutes and I am presented with a message saying I need a personal break and will not be able to get back into the game. Ok, everything is still normal I suppose. I finally get back into the game after like 8 more minutes (I'm eager because my boost is being wasted). All of my barracks are boosted and just idling with nothing to make. I queue up some more troops, and I am then presented with a red message saying I have been playing too long and I will be kicked out of the game. I try to attack with my army that has been sitting there for some time and I get a message saying I am not allowed to attack. I quite the game and try to come back in and I am now presented with the message AGAIN saying I need a personal break and will not be able to get back into the game.....
So I wait some more. After some more time has passed I am finally able to get back into the game and and guess what? Yep, I am presented with another red message saying I need a personal break and will be kicked off (unable to attack). The game kicks me out and just like before will not let me back in.
I finally get back in and see that all of the boost had run out - literally my entire boosting session was completely wasted. There was no warning or no way of knowing this was going to occur prior to using gems, and the boosting never paused (e.g. when supercell does an update, they pause your boost and it turns orange. You can then resume it.). This never occured... the game allows you to use gems, then will prevent you from playing the game until it has run out.
Am I missing something here? Or is this an intended "feature" and everything is working as designed?
p.s. something I would like to note.... for the better part of the day, my base has been left without a shield, and no one has been attacking me. Is this supposed to be permanent until someone attacks you? Am I supposed to believe this is not a bug and is actually intended? Or is this indeed a bug?

Yes, the PBT system needs to be improved and simplified.
Hopefully this will help.
Information about the PBT:
-PBT is 3 hours: forced offline for 6 minutes after 3 hours cumulative online time without shield
-PBT resets when gaining shield, or in other reset cases below
-Buying 2-hour Village Guard from shop extends current PBT by 2 hours
-PBT paused during server maintenance, but not reset
PBT reset cases:
-After defense with shield: Full PBT reset
-After a defense without shield OR 6-minute PBT kickout without defense: PBT extended (+15 minutes to PBT, +15 minutes Village Guard)
-After 2nd consecutive defense without shield OR 6-minute PBT kickout without defense: PBT extended (+15 minutes to PBT, +15 minutes Village Guard)
-After 3rd consecutive defense without shield OR 6-minute PBT kickout without defense: Full PBT reset + Free Village Guard based on League
-After 30 minutes consecutive offline time without defense: Full PBT reset (no Village Guard given)
It just happened again! Only 20 minutes later!
I'm totally with you there, couldn't have said it better! Since the update, I didn't get a shield not even once, and most of my attackers didn't try anything beside dropping one lonely troop. I'm upping in trophies very fast without doing anything special, but this three times 15 minutes / 6 minutes is annoying the hell out of me. Once would really be enough. Not to mention when the 30 minutes rule for PBT reset doesn't work at all... Although on this front it seems a little bit more reliable this morning, but don't know why.Quote:

I've had a very similar issue and no help from Clash Of Clans support!
On Thursday I lost lost everything I did for the 2 hour period after the CoC update. I lost approximately 1500 gems, 30,000 dark elixer and millions of gold and elixer. I started playing soon after the update and used my gems which I recently purchased (especially for the update) to finish some buildings and research. This was so that I could spend my saved resources from before update (7,636,000 gold, 5,194,000 elixer and 59,000 dark elixer) before earning more loot which I had gained in this 2 hour period (close to 30,000 dark elixer and around 4 million gold and 4 million elixer)
The game then kicked me out and when I eventually got back in everything from the last 2 hours had been reset apart from the gems I'd spent! I tried to continue playing, spent some more gems to free up a builder (which i'd already done 2 hours previous) and spent about 7 million gold on my wall. I was then kicked again and when I finally got back in for the second time my gems that I had just spent (again) were gone, but my 7 million gold was back and my builder still busy again.
Since Thursday I have been attacked 3 times and lost 7000 dark elixer, over 1 million gold and 700,000 elixer due to not having any gems left to finish builders in order to spend my resources.
I'm only getting automated messages from clash of clans and don't know what to do!
