This is the base I am currently using, as of yet, nobody has attempted a 3 star attack, and 55% of my defenses have been won. Occasionally I get a TH9 or strong TH8 attack me and take some of my loot, but it's not too hard to farm the loot back. The town hall is completely protected by the teslas as well as the giant bombs as well as the loot as it is central and protected by defences.

This is the base I've been using since the update (credits go to Clash with ash).
I stay in the 1200-1500 trophy range and this base has been working nicely. One thing I love about this base is its flexibility, you can interchange the storages which gives you better chances of 30% attacks. As I'm almost maxed and have plentiful of Elixir so I put two Elixir storages on the top side of base behind 1 layer of walls. This forces attackers to use atleast half of their army and giving you a shield
