Farming as TH11 - where to go?

Really only answer is trial and error!!
On the forum there will only be a minute amount that are TH11 so maybe drop down and return here and express where you have found your own sweet spot for farming?

Seems we will have to wait for the dust to settle before choosing League.

That said. I need somewhere with a lot of attacking.
CoC fun mean attacking a lot (in my head)
Not waiting hours for troops/spells/heroes.

If only the heavy troops took shorter time and cost was the same I would use them more.
But time is an issue.

And every body seems to mean that I am way to low on trophies.
All I see is "one barb hit and leave" - Them now... Me later. to find an easier spot :facepalm:

We are also having a CW where their 3rd player was a TH10 at the beginning of the preparation day and is now a maxed TH11. I take it as a challenge to 2* his base so the guy has gemmed everything during prep day for no result ;-) lol

Regarding OP's question, I'm personally farming in Titan. I can easily make 350k each per raid + 280k league bonus (70% bonus, but I'm getting it most of the time). I don't care about my shield, I'll attack when I have one, which means I can raid about 4 times if I take my shield + VG + PB into account, and then I take a def and start over. Last defs I lost less than half of my storages, so around 200k each, so if you make a quick calculation : 4x 350K + 4x 380 bonus - 200k def = 2.320m

OK, that might not be what people used to farm using barch and taking TH out, but still enough to cover my needs, and this way of playing remove a lot of the stress I had compared to prior to the update (where I had to keep watching at my screen during 6h trying to avoid disconnections). So globally I'm pretty happy.

I don't get that, I have been attacking TH10s only for like a year now in champs. I almost never see a TH9, and when I do, it has no loot. As a TH11 with the warden, I think you could do quite well in the higher leagues. I have maxed heroes(which all TH11s should have) and have no use for de, after the witch/minion upgrade, which I already had over 200k overflowing. So I can raid with a DE heavy army and gain elixir and gold. I think this is why they put in zero DE sinks at TH11, besides the 2 troops.

But is see tons of bases in Champs 3 now, that have lots of resources.

I am with others - not making any drastic changes to trophy level (Titan III rn) ... going to see where the dust settles.

Right now I am using mass golems on th10s looking for 400K elixer bases and with bonus 280 is not bad

Dropped from 3800 trophies to 1500 trophies with the intention to farm just before my TH11 upgrade finished, but to no avail. There is no dead base or TH9 with more than 150k loot, 90 percent bases that i found are TH11 and maxed out TH10. I'm making my way up with Gowipe attack, in gold league :facepalm:. If you are looking to farm, league crystal and below is not for you.

However, looking at the bright side of things, if you decide to drop your trophy to lower level, do it at TH11 bases that has Eagle Artillery that is still under construction and remote location to unlock the anti-artillery achievement.

Don't worry this is normal for all new TH levels. The economy really sucks at first. It's why a lot of people stayed at th10, they knew this was coming.

Everytime there is a new th level the initially sucks. It takes time for people to catch up and add more bases and hence more loot to the equation. In the grand scheme of things there are a small percentage of th11s at the moment. I would say less than 1/3 of the th10s probably moved up.
Depending on what you are collecting loot can be good or bad. I have a few more royal levels to go so I farm DE and I'm happy with anything else I can get going at the moment. As long as both my royals are going.
Once they are done I plan to use the DE that I will no longer need to farm gold and elixir.
Just need to be patient. I think it took th10 like 6 months to really start seeing decent loot when it was released

I think Gold is too low. I am using gibarch and aim for TH10 bases with 350k+ elix. Sometimes i cook 2 golems or a few hogs to save elix. I think for the cook time and the bases I see, I might as well move higher and get a better league bonus. Our clan has several TH11's and there is no single 'sweet spot' that we have found yet - we range from silver to champs.
