Donated Poison ruining TH8 wars

So, as we all know, there is an extra donated spell now.. meaning at TH8, an attacker can take two poisons. Has anyone done the math for what level poisons are required to take out what level dragon? Now it certainly seems like the strongest TH8 attack is going to be pulling the CC with a hog, killing it with two poisons (giving up 30 seconds to get back to the regular three minutes), then launching 44 hogs.

To whoever tries telling me I should still bring wizards for some reason, I'm going to ask you in advance why do you think I should take wizards for clean up instead of goblins. You're welcome.

That is a valid statement. Maybe supercell will see it and change how powerful they are if two are used or something. But yes great point.

Don't forget, the donated spell also gets an upgrade (rather interesting, as the clan perk changed from troop level to donation upgrade...)

I can make an argument for, say, 1 wizard on the opposite side of the hogs, as pinching during clean helps. :)

I used a lv2 and a lv4 (donated) poison spell in a war attack just now and took out a max drag.

Drop lv2
count to 5
drop lv4

That will kill the drag. You need the delay to give you the right mix of increase the rate the damage scales up and the overall duration the dragon is poisoned.

L4 poison ALMOST takes out a drag by itself. Only need one more poison, whatever level, and the drag is easily destroyed

What about level 3 and level 1?

Zapquake plus rage and haste have revived my dragoloon attack on th8s sporting level 6 ADs

Hogs are still stronger against most th8s, especially without having a cc or pull to worry about. If I wanted to have this debate I would have asked nvrstopdreaming

Im interested in seeing how this will change the meta since with my mini 8.

Has anyone tried a camp full of hogs with 2 poisons in action?

I will today. I'll probably bring two archers and three goblins to push the remaining hogs in a desired direction on clean up. Note: I am definitely not bringing any wizards, with far less dps to the buildings hogs don't kill and far slower than goblins,
