No loot in th's outside walls

I'm lvl135 maxed th10, th inside... I was attacked and my loot inside the th was taken.

However, I'm finding based with tons of loot with th outside walls with zero loot in the th!!! What's the issue?

Abandoned bases. Loot in the TH is the same as loot in a storage. All of their loot will be in their mines.

If people aren't smart enough to place th inside walls, why protect them SC?

You'll get the loot when the TH is fully destroyed.

they're likely dirt poor (default/countless snipes over last 3 hrs)

You are late to the party...the outside ths have already been emptied pretty quickly. Loot doesn't get redistributed among buildings it just gets spent down and allocated upon collection such that the buildings will tend towards the proper proportions.

I took out the th first. Nothing, then I deployed the full attack and that's when I got the loot which was in the storages.

I'm finding tons of loot inside the THs.

Loot in the TH is a portion of what is in the regular storages. It is NOT affected by what may be in the collectors.

I was in Champs... Lol, no th's outside. I dropped to crystal to join the party, I guess I am late.
