Is there anything a maxed th10 can upgrade while waiting on TH11 to finish?

I'm Th9 but I (my game is in french so not the exact word) but I see the mesage : need to be TH11 to upgrade that

Yes, there's a secret building you've never seen or heard of! You have to double tap on all of your builders then do a cartwheel & the secret menu appears

Exactly, I was hoping that I could start a storage upgrade, but those all locked until my TH11 finishes.

I'm in a worse situation than you. My walls and heros are already maxed, so I'm just waiting and testing out the new shield systems.

I'm being a great clan mate by passing out troops and spells.

OP, 30/27 heroes? Yikes! That is going to bite you in the backside for sure. Your stuff isn't even max for TH9, let alone 10. Why are you upgrading?

I have 4040 heroes and lack only 80 lvl 11 walls, but I'm going to hold off probably until walls are all finished.

Yes true, I could hang out at th10 for a while longer to max heroes and walls. But I am hardly a premie, and I have been at TH10 for over a year, and looking for a new challenge.

I salute you on your purist approach, but I don't have that kind of patience. Plus, I already the 8 mil in gold on hand, so why not use it, get some shiny new toys, and be part of the TH11 vanguard?

I'm in a similar position: TH10 with max defenses, max troops (except minion) and heroes at 34/27. I saved up resources figuring something in the upgrade might be available at TH10 but there was nothing new to build. Decided to start the clock and spend 7M gold on the TH11 upgrade because if I cancel it in the next 2 weeks, I'm only out one level 10 wall upgrade, and walls are pretty useless at this level.

I think I'm going to try TH10.5 with just the troop upgrades and the new hero and see how that goes. The Eagle thing will probably add too much weight in war matches to want to have it until my heroes are maxed.

Great idea, I was thinking of doing the same thing. I hadn't thought about the eagle artillery in war matchmaking, but I think you are likely right, and I think my clanmates will probably thank me for not getting the new defense too fast. Plus with the extra cannon, wizard tower, and Xbow I will have plenty to keep my builders busy for weeks.
