Future update suggestion !

Hi there. I was wondering if someone ever mention to incorporate in one of the updates the ability to be able to use more than one builder when upgrading even if the user have to use gems in order to do this so this will be an option to accelerate the upgrade all depend on the number of builder the user or gamer want to use.

The idea of using multiple builders on a single building, using logic, would make sense.

Also using logic, the scalability of more than one builder for the same building might not represent a gain of speed, sometimes it gets even worse - I'm using the logic of multiple threads/processors for the same task



But the idea is ruled out by the dev team, maybe someday it will be a thing, no plans for now :p

Thanks for your input but if for logistic comes, it is like when you are converting a video using a 2 cores cpu and it may takes 6 hours 4.5 gigs when using a 6 cores cpu goes down to 2 hours, the same when you are building a new house using 1 carpenter ,if you use 3 one can work on a window while the other 2 on doors and you can get faster done. hahahaaha . I think it will be a nice idea to improve time when upgrading.

Actually, you are looking at the perfect situation when the software was made thinking on multi-tasking on the same task.

I'm looking based on this - The graphic shows no performance loss (its theoretical after all), but it can actually decrease performance if not perfectly programmed :smirk:

For a better explanation, if the software (in this case, builders) was made to be half multi-tasked the increase of processors show no advance when the number of processors is above 16.

The example I did before was based on this graphic and it is used to measure performance gained with high performance computers - gaming ones, where there are always a big number of processors and there are not big differences between a 8-core and 16-core on 90% of the games :p

jajajajaa you guys are great, so basically it is on the end of the programmer to do the perfect math. Thanks for the info and i know you guys can make it happens hahahahaa it can't be that hard and i dont know if some other players like the idea to , it was just a suggestion from a newbie .
