Supercell, what will happen to the war search bug now?

As you guys at supercell may know, or not know (i have reported it and received no feedback), there is currently a war search bug where the names do not show up on the list when you hit search. Some people say it does not effect searching, but I can assure you we have tested it extensively, and while there are no names you will not find a war. Eventually the names will come up and you will find a war, but this can sometimes take a while.

I also know the reason why the names do not show up (also tested extensively in game). When the names do not show up on the war search screen, if you go into the clan page where the list of all the members are, you will see some players do not have a war shield beside their name (the one showing if they are opted in or out). These are the players causing the names not to appear on the search screen, thus stopping you finding a match.

Why do these players not have a war shield beside their name? It is when they are offline without a base shield (the one you get from being attacked). As soon as these players either log into the game, or get attacked in multiplayer getting their base shielded, the names will then show up as soon as you restart the search (again tested over and over).

So my question is, have you at supercell fixed this bug? Because now that players are no longer going to be able to get free shields from putting town hall out, the number of unshielded offline players is going to increase, which could mean big problems with war searching.

Just thought I would mention this, cause it could cause a lot of issues, if its still a bug.

You are right. I thought I was in bugs. Can a mod move this?.

Hopefully supercells stance on not acknowledging this bug for so long was because they didn't know what caused it. Well now they do.

The reason we first noticed what was causing the issue, was because it was usually the same player every war search that was holding us up so I decided to ask the player if there was anything in particular he was doing that other players were not, that could be the cause of the issue.

He answered that he had dropped to silver and kept breaking shield and going offline, because he was trying to get the unbreakable achievement.

So what we then did was we tested it with various other players. Sending them offline without a shield and then starting war search, and low and behold no names. We tried it over and over with all different players and the only thing that effected the names coming up or not coming up was if a player was currently logged out of the game with no shield. As soon as they logged back on, or got a shield, the war search was fine.

Maxed th10s sitting in silver are never going to get a shield, and if they are at work or asleep when we want to do war search it is going to be a big big issue. Please do not ignore this.

This still isn't fixed. The only reason you don't get more complaints is because people don't realise it exists.

I have some accounts without shield and offline in war every war, and sometimes it takes some minutes, sometimes a couple of hours, but we usually find opponent within 8 hours

Exactly the problem. It can take 8 hours, and thats becuase of this bug not because there are no opponents out there. While the names are not up, you arent in the system. I do not care what anyone says, I can assure you that you will not find a match while the names dont come up on the list. We have tested it many times.
