Pretty much afraid to to to TH8.

Agreed. Walls aren't for everyone so don't stress too much on them.

I would say though that you should get them to at least Pink. Once you reach Pink attackers need 2 x Max Wall Breakers to get through. At Gold they only need one.

I only carry 8 wall breakers so I can either open 4 compartments of Pink or 8 compartments of Gold - big difference.

You've done well on your defences though. Quickly get the Pinks then upgrade! The battles and loot are just as good at TH8 so don't worry.

i second this. Farm constant whenever possible and leave one builder open during those times. Upgrade walls as soon as you have gold for one section. That way you are much less likely to get attacked with no gold to be taken. Two weeks all walls maxed.

TH 8 is fine... Th 9 and 10 rushes not so much...

TH8 isn't very bad. Go to 1400 I average 200k raids just got a 400k gold raid a little bit ago. If your maxed at TH7 you aren't gaining anything by staying.

a few things to point out with this thread.

1) Ive read through this thread and i see a lot of people saying they are averaging 200/200 per raid in th8. Thats not really an accurate portrayal. You will average around 100/100 consistently; occasionally you will get more and occasionally less. Also these people arent taking into account the 50k resources you spend on troops per raid, nor the spells, nor the 5-10k gold it takes to find a suitable base to raid... Also they are not where you are, They raid with Lvl 5 troops and have better defenses.

2nd) as for your base even though you are getting bored of th7 you want to stay there as long as possible. Max your walls to purple. Max your teslas to 3. other than your collectors which you can slack on if you want. You want everything else maxed. Because in the beginning you will struggle at TH8. You will get raided a lot so the more shyt you got done now the better you will be. You want to have your gold and elixor storages filled as well when you are about to be th8 so that way you can upgrade your lab right away

You have nothing to fear your not coming from the view of a TH9 or TH10...

dont be afraid of Town Hall 8, it was my favorite level so far for sure! The raiding is great, and there are so many things to upgrade. Its fun to pick on Townhall 7s with lvl 5 troops, and eventually take huge loot from good TH9s and 10s! dont fret, you should be scared of TH9 though :S
