What trophy range is the best to farm in?

Gold leagues, I'd say G3-low G2 is best.

What resource are you trying to farm? Are you a hardcore farmer, casual player, war head?
For gold/elixir farmers: Anywhere, really. Dead bases can be found in any league, really. I recommend Gold I-III or above if you can
For de: Crystal 2 or above. Most bases usually have a lot of de up there. The league bonus also helps
