I am still playing catch up with all of these updates. I was thinking I would get to got th10 at the new year. But that was before I found out th11 was coming. Im a nearly maxed th9. I will finish th9 and then I will be moving on to th10 as th9 will have nothing more for me.
Th9 will be always be the best th level. But in this game its a dog eat dog world. No sense in being two th levels behind and fading into the past!
Walls don't matter that much, but heroes do. Try and get them to lvl 25 before upgrading (teen heroes are way too low to be able to hit well-upgraded th10s)Quote:

I'm very glad I decided to wait and not move to TH10 yet. My plan when I delayed was to get heroes to 25/25 and then go. But I found that TH9 with high level heroes has been the most enjoyable time in the game for me. War is very fun and balanced (if anything, getting 3 stars on a max TH9 is on the easy side of balanced now).
Super Queen has been great for getting DE. I don't think that will change as much as many predict with the update though. 6 healers is really all you need for most of the raid anyway, with the ability and a rage or 2 when needed to keep her alive. I don't think that strategy will die. Using 7 or 8 so one takes over when another dies will be fine IMO, but we will see.
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now for TH10 war balancing, so I'm sure I will go on to TH10. But I got my most enjoyment when I quit trying to just get the next shiny thing and instead enjoyed how fun the game becomes at TH9 with high level heroes.
