Maybe, but previously the clancastle wouldn't have stored any dark elixor in this case. It's not a bug? It's a new feature?

Shield reduced even though i did not drop a troop. The 30 second timer elapsed but i decided not to attack and went back to home screen. Was penalized 3 hrs. Is this a bug or by design​?

Found a TH6 outside the wall...sniped it and got no loot. There was 180K/150K available loot...got 0.

i don't think it's your error...i had a cooldown on a 1-week shield before the update...after the update, the cooldown is on the 2-day shield...programming error when they added the VG option...the left most button, i.e. the VG purchase, is actually the 1-day shield due to the coding error...hence, you got a 1-day shield

All my walls have dropped a lvl 😉😉
