Hello there! I have been a th8 for quite a bit of time, and I would like to know from the communities opinions if I am ready for th9. Here is what I have currently done.
- All of my defenses, traps
- My barracks, dark barracks, army camps
- Every troop upgrade beside minion, valk, and hog (currently saving for hog upgrade)'
- 63? walls to lvl 8, rest are 7
Everything is done besides walls and those three troop upgrades. Tell me if I am good for th9 or I should sit at th8 for a bit more. Thank you!
IMO, upgrade and get your Archer Queen asap.
A good indicator if your ready is if your storages are getting full pretty quickly and you can't spend it.
Yeah, my elixir storages are always full, and that is why I am always being picked on by th9's, but I feel like I might need more walls up. Thanks for your insight!Quote:

I understand that I can use my elixir for extra walls, yet those are for lvl 9 and up walls (Which I find they should allow lvl 7 walls to be upgraded to lvl 8 walls using elixir). The problem with th8 is that you have so much excess elixir at the end of the day, yet the elixir is just sitting there. I will probably upgrade at the beginning of the 15th, (so I can get more walls done, and save the de for queen, and also that the upgrade will end on the 25th :)). Make sure you have more than enough DE (40,000) to plant the AQ the second the your TH hits TH9 and you should be fine.
Though it would be easier if you had L4 hogs at Th8 to get them to L5 quickly at TH9. They are really good at L4, they are pretty awesome at L5 against a lot of other Th9s.
Before you upgrade, try to get at least half of your level 8 walls.

Also I wouldnt stress too much about completing ALL the walls but personnaly would advice to get to half before starting the TH upgrade and you can probably do 60+ more during the 10 days wait time
