Newspaper

Just wanted to check something out, don't think its a bug, so am posting here.

since the update I noticed a couple of things, firstly all the B &E seems to have returned, when it was absent a while ago.
may just be that everyone nows sells to the truck which rarely asks for these things.

The other thing is the speed at which stuff disappears from the paper. To check, I made sure to open a slot immediately the new edition came out, and nothing was in the stall. Everything good is gone, no matter how fast I get to it, including speeding to the back page and getting cheap strawberries, for example. All gone.

Even at a stall, when new things are put up, I pounce and get the dreaded 'sorry someone else has bought this' tag. Immediately. Maybe my connection is running slow, but it was not like this pre-update ( which I think is great, BTW).

Any thoughts??

I have to admit that I have found this extremely frustrating recently. I completely come out of Hay Day, go back in and pick the first thing in the newspaper only to find that it has gone,

i got the same thing. its always someone else has bought it no matter how fast i was. could be standing by at someone's shop and the moment something comes up you tap it like IMMEDIATELY and its STILL gone! i dont think my connection is slow, theres just something not right around here. everytime after an update theres always an issue with the newspaper. but things are selling fast probably due to the bonus coins for truck orders event.

i've never had a nice temperament to begin with but the 'someone else has bought it' probably made it worse lol. couldnt stop cursing and swearing everytime haha

I've been blaming the truck event. Got lucky on one or two, but mostly am greeted with empty stall.

I too am having this issue. I've found just about everything, including B&E and eggs are gone before I can get to them. It's like I have a delay from when the item is advertised and to when I can see it.
I also noticed that in one newspaper there is an item listed and it has already been bought. Then in the next newspaper update or the one after that, the same item from the same farm and the same price shows up. So the advertisements don't update and go away once the item is gone.
That being said, I believe the truck orders are to blame. I usually go through my friends to see what they have for sell and since yesterday there hasn't been many items in their stall.

Could be the advertisement is being reused (check the seller's max number of visitors)

It's great for selling. My stalls sell out faster than I can restock them.

My simple theory:

New update=more people playing=more competition=items being gone quicker.

It should level out in the next couple of days.

Agreed. Even on the last update when the fishing was introduced. There was barely any B&E on the DD. Even if there was, it was sold out for couple of days, but eventually it came back.

So give or take a couple of days, you will then see more B&E's back on the DD.

my last bit of 'research' showed that when waiting at a stall selling stuff cheap, two things can appear at once for sale, which is impossible unless there is a delay. Even then, both can be sold before my nanosecond reflexes tap them. I reckon the truck prders are messing some things up, but the overall delay is definitely ot helping.
