Please Improve the Chat System

Supercell please make some improvements to the chat system. Any half way decent clan has to use a 3rd party program to communicate properly. Some strong features that in game chat is missing are:

- Copy/Paste
- Spell Correct
- Intelligent Voice Text
- Larger text box
- Whispers
- Personal Messages

I mean the list goes on. The in game chat system is as basic as they come. It would really be nice to not have to use a 3rd party app just to communicate with clan members in a game where communication is key to success. Thanks.

I would like copy and paste. Anyone with half a brain does not need spelling correction. Dictation is kind of stupid. Larger box, maybe. Whisper, maybe, but that would be hard to implement. And aren't personal messages the same thing?

Spell correction isn't necessary for people with less than half a brain. Typing on touchscreen sucks. Suggestive spelling can help greatly with typo's and greatly improve user experience.

- Spell Correct aggree

- Personal Messages Pm and whispers aren't the same thing? Imagine the inbox of the top leaderboard player and the harassment this feature will bring.

It would be amazing if two opposing clans could talk to each other without having to spell it out in walls or clan descriptions.

However, I guess we are too afraid of thin skinned people possibly bursting into tears if they hear harsh words.

It is more likely to lead to jerks trolling the other clan and being rude. Why do you think there is no such features in the first place? :rolleyes:

I would love copy and paste and a larger text box.. That would be awesome

im not sure that you will ever take away the necessity for a 3rd party communication app tho.. Not without a huge amount of rework, and frankly I would rather they concentrated on the game itself rather than putting their efforts into becoming a chat app that is already available elsewhere..
