Does anyone still think this might be a possibility with this update? I thought for sure it would have been announced before the Hero... now I think it might just not even happen now... I saved up a ton of Dark Elixer and Elixer ready for it but now I'm just ready to spend it since I can hold much more.

Spend it. Th10 is getting nothing.
I'll be disappointed if there is not a new de troop...hound was the last one we got and that was at least a year back. In such a big update as this one, I would imagine there would almost have to be one. All those empty troop spaces in the de barracks need to fill up at some point...when's a better time to start than now?
