Hi,
I'm unable to open Hay Day at all since updating the app today. There is no startup screen, nothing. I would give more information except I can't even get into the game at all.

P.S. Before you ask, I have force-closed the app and powered my iPhone down completely before trying to open the app again. Same result.

Now, can't play the game at all. Something went funky with that update guys!

I also took common sense fixing steps. Closed ap, reopened. Nothing at all opened. Simply a black screen which then minimized itself.
Turned off/on my phone.
Yes, my phone is up to date!
Since my farm is on cloud, I even deleted and reinstalled app. Issue still occurring.

I have the same problem. I couldn't start the app after the update. I play on an iPod with iOS 6.1.6.
Please resolve the problem...
The same thing is happening to me. The problem was update 1.27.139; it was working fine with 1.27.127. I regret downloading it since the red logo didn't really matter at all anyway.
Same here, iPad 3 is fine, iPad 1 not working at all :( Not opening the farm.
Ios 6.1.6 on two iPod 4th gen. I wish I could go back...I think we are screwed for the rest of the derby....
Same here. I don't think this will be addressed for a couple days. No way to contact support.
I have the same problem with my first gen iPad. I uninstalled it did a hard reset reinstalled and I can not open the game. Please fix
At this rate I'll be surprised if my hood doesn't kick me.... Great. Well I guess all we can do is be patient .
Played this morning and this afternoon. Came home this evening and installed update to remove the "Red" and now game will not open. Rebooted iPhone 2 times. Uninstalled game and reinstalled. Still same thing.
Found that this is issue for several on www.downdetector.com and https://downtoday.co.uk/hay-day/. And in middle of Derby!!
Oh, and found no complaints whatsoever on Facebook Hay Day pages. None! That is weird....
Something went wrong when the Icon was changed back to normal.. We purchased the diamonds for this event. It wasn't a big update, so hopefully quick fix is coming very very soon...
iOS 6.1.3 on iPad (iPad 2, i think)
After the last update, touching the HayDay icon, seems to start it as it should, but then leaves back to iOS, without even showing the splash screen.
Best luck for correcting this one, hopefully soon.

Guys i had the same problem yesterday i use ios6 today i updated to ios 8 and now it's working, try doing this
The point is that many people with older devices cannot update to iOS 8. Older devices with lower iOS were fine until the removal of red icon yesterday.Quote:

I have an iPod 4th gen that worked fine with the most currently available iOS for it which is 6.1.6. and this is above the listed min requirements for the game per SC. Apple, for whatever reason, will not allow the iOS to be updated higher. In fact, you can STILL PURCHASE iPod 4th gens from the Apple's website. So, we are stuck again. Unlike previous crashing issues I am very familiar with, you do not even get the hayday logo splash on the screen, it just goes blank or black for a few seconds and back to the home screen. Yes the exact same thing was happening with me yesterday and I deleted then reinstalled the app 3 times. It only worked after the iOS update. I have iPhone 5 so maybe that's why it worked for me I don't khow it's weird.Quote:

We need to wait until hay day decides to release another update to fix the bugs the last one introduced unless you can update your iOS to 8 or above apparently. Go into settings, then general, then software update. Either it will tell you that you are on iOS version ____ or it will let you update. Mine says my iOS is up to date at 6.1.6.
I wish I had seen this earlier :( i just updated 5 minutes ago and now cannot access the game at all. I get a black screen for a few seconds, then the app crashes.
So unless iOS 8 or higher, we cannot access the farm at all. Black screen appears, cannot even get into the play as others mentioned. 2nd day now. Fail without warning :(

Thank you Nick. Yes, seems like only iOS6 and lower. iPad 1 worked like a treat after you guys released the previous fix, no crashing. After the latest 'red icon' removal, it doesn't open at all.Quote:

I have seen posts here from higher level iOS reporting a problem. IOS 9 should not have it and one person updated to 8.X and got rid of it. I was only asking the person on iOS 9.1 if they had done it. IOS 5.x and 6.x are having problems.Quote:

There is a new optional update available, and this one is mainly for iOS5.x and iOS6.x users who have experienced issues getting into the game! Please report back how it works for you!
