The difference is whether or not it is an official release from Supercell. The video links are posted by Supercell Staff which leads to the assumption that they are from Supercell and not the private views of an individual. Honestly, until today, I did not realize that Galadon and Chief Pat are not Supercell employees, or at least that is what I have managed to learn from these forums.

Whether they have their facts correct or not is not the issue and while I am not paying to view the videos, by visiting their YouTube channel and viewing the videos, those individuals do indeed make revenue from my visit to their page from the ads on their YouTube channels, etc.

Obviously if a SC employee is linking out to the video there is some kind of affiliation and you can be assured the information is correct.

It's so great youtube exists for free. All those free computers they use. Everything is free!!!! No one ever pays for anything.

It has less to do about someone making money and more to do with the fact that the posts are misleading and insinuate that the videos are from Supercell when in fact they are not and contain the views of the individuals and not Supercell.

Welcome to the internet age when good portion of marketing material is done by eager volunteers. In the end SC does give video material to the few selected youtubers so their videos do come with a SC seal of appoval.
