Updates, sneak peeks and disclaimers

Dear Supercell,

I have been repeatedly referred to youtube videos to view update information and to see them in action - from the official update threads from this forum.

I thought I was being referred to Supercell videos. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that Galawhatever, Chief or whoever, and the likes, are not Supercell employees and I was being referred to those individuals personal youtube channels. Channels that they make ad revenue off of.

All I am asking is for Supercell to provide a disclaimer stating that we are being directed to a third party which is in no way affiliated with Supercell, a paid employee or whatever, thereby giving me the option to support that private individual, if I so choose to.

you shouldn't disrespect respectable you tubers, you aren't forced to watch the videos and there isn't anything exclusive in them. You can wait and see yourself in the update if you don't want to view the videos.

so you dont like to support youtuber who give you content for free, yes for free. weather or not the youtuber gains from ads, you can still watch it for free so seem to me you are just trolling

if you don't like it then don't watch it and just wait till the updates

Yes, chief pats voice can be annoying and I have trouble understanding him.... yes it eats up a lot of data watching you tube when traveling around and yes Supercell could put photos and stats on the website. However, it isn't quite the same as watching it on a Vid. And if it was an SC person, I'm sure that it wouldn't have that "player feel" which is important marketing wise. Is that a bad thing? No.


I also prefer it to be a youtuber than SC. no idea why, just it is more in keeping with the way things are done.

Galadon & pat are affiliated with SC.

What difference does it make to you if they are supercell employees or not? They have all their facts correct, plus you are getting those videos for free

I'm not disrespecting anyone. More power to them for making a buck. I would just like SC to inform us when the videos and/or links are posted that the videos etc are NOT from SC and by visiting/viewing/etc, you are supporting a third party and not SC.

Don't have anything against YouTubers, but when you have an official forum from SC and full information is not even posted here ...

Not that I don't want to watch, but there might be some times when its not possible to open up youtube. Todays forum update was a one liner.

my apologies, there are so many youtubers I can't possibly be expected to keep all of their names straight, especially since just about every video shows a different name in the in game replay.

You obviously missed my point. The links to said videos are posted in a thread started by and edited by a 'Supercell Staff', without mention that the video being linked to is from a third party, and not an official release from Supercell. I'm just asking for clarification when the links are posted that they are not from Supercell and/or Supercell employees.
