I have never seen any base that can defend against super queen.. Yes I got super queened twice on it, first time it was level 15 aq and got killed by cc drag. I think he was still learning, so it wasn't good. Then another day I got hit by aq 40 and he got de and 4 storages with a rage and jump.

Then I had been gibarched by 30/30 10 with eq and lost half resources again with de.

Except those scenarios, I havent lost even half resources or de.



Some here say the base is easy and ♥♥♥♥ and whatnot.. Best part about it is imo, looks easy to most with spread out defense and thus makes Noob players try.

Any skilled player who knows how to funnel can get loot on any base. No big deal there. What you want is a base that can make other non skilled player lose

This base does that. I have never had any issues raiding this base or any other for that matter since I hit th10. But does that make this base bad? Nope. You can have any layout as th9.. Skilled attacker can still get your de or any other resources he wanted as th10 or max th9 with high heroes.

But it does make it almost impossible for majority to get de or any other resources.

Oh, and with max gibarch40/40 anyone can get loot on any th9 base, if they have a base that's impossible for them to get, they should quit. So "expressing their point that this base is bad because I can easily destroy it" makes no sense.

im not saying it is all bad
it serves its purpose, it tricks new players and inexperienced ones into trying it otherwise it is just sniped thats fine.
yes any th9/10 with good heros can funnel
but it is not an amazing base, it relies on snipers and noobs
as do most if not all generic bases

it's a good base,but i prefer common 4 corners 4 enclosures base.it worked for me pretty well throughout my th 9.

The first sentence affirms what I said in my initial post. My wording and the fact that I have max troops got a lot of people in their feelings.

The second sentence is wholly incorrect. The base has two active xbows and four max mortars for TH9 (barch killers). If you don't think that sets it apart defensively from a TH8, you're crazy.

Getting a lot of percentage doesn't equate to getting the right buildings. The purpose of the hypercube is to make the troops circle the base whilst leaving the core in tact. My gibarch strolled into the core, it's as simple as that.

Either your max troops and 40/40 heroes would destroy any possible base design with those defensive levels and walls, or you are a terrible attacker. In either case, it is beyond silly to say the base design is bad because all max troops 40/40 heroes and 4 EQ spells took the loot. I mean...just lol

I used the mindblower for most of TH9 BTW and it worked quite well, I did not use the TH9 hypercube. Well, I used the mindblower as the base of what I tweaked it into

Maybe you aren't.. But the way some people did post here sounded like exactly that.

It is an amazing base for people who had used it for long time and lost almost no resources. Maybe they got lucky or maybe they never faced real leet skilled players like some claim here who can get de with 39% and quit majestically.

But I am in a clan where its all th10(10-15)&th9(30) members. I have seen plenty other bases they tried get crushed now and then. Yes most of us are in gold-crystal3 range. But I haven't seen as many replays of this base like others. Sure, you can say its not amazing and relies on noobs and snipers.. We will see about that after post update lol..

But my point is, you need a base that makes bad/inexperienced players to try your base and give shield/attack and fail before the skilled /maxed or both skilled leet max players find your base.

If it does that, yes its an amazing base for me then. Because it caused me not to lose loot to the more powerful players with more experience..



My other point is,

A player chose to express their gratitude to a base builder and a base design that served him well through his journey.


What did he get? If you read first few pages of this thread, I really feel sorry for those people who want to feel great and have to make fun of everything others post.

It wasn't necessary to bash a base in such thread like they did. If you have constructive criticism, then sure. But most were not.. And then this big max 40/40 comes and posts a picture about destroying one th below and getting loot where its not even Max to that th level lol.. I mean how hard do you want to try to be mean? OK, you have the skills. You are awesome. Now is it really amazing to beat a base that's not even half way in defense and is a lower th and when you have max offense of higher th. It's laughing matter. But according to him we are people trying to defend a "crappy base". I would like to see him destroy a mid th10 atleast and get all without a sweat and then claim its a crappy base

Well, this base is touted as amazing, so other bases with those defensive levels and walls are irrelevant to this discussion. I find it funny that people think I would have failed abysmally if it was a max TH9.

Also, no EQs were used, so you may want to invest in a pair of prescription reading glasses.

Not their feelings lol.. The information contained in that post made them laugh at your claim. A max th10 bears ♥♥♥♥ out of mid? 9 . so the base is bad. That's your claim. If I as a th9 with 30/30 heroes killed a th8. Should I be claiming its bad layout? I don't think I even need to answer that..


Mortars? Lol. Giants are there for what? Your heroes? They tank the mortars. Xbows? Level 1&2? Seriously dude? They tickle to my still level 6 gibarch and 25/25 heroes. Surely for a max gibarch40/40 its no biggie.

Even if you had hit a max 9 let alone a new/mid 9. It does NOT mean base is ♥♥♥♥. Go home if you can't get it. How hard is it to take out a lower th if you have any decent experience and skill?

Exactly, you are great.. You can. Most can't. So its effective. Just because you and few handful of others can, doesn't mean most can. If we had every defense hits like that getting steamrolled. We wouldn't be using that base now would we? Maybe you should think about that.

Not all are as awesome as you are. You are an awesome gibarcher steamrolling lower th.

Thankfully most attacks aren't as awesome as you are.

The base is actually pretty decent, but anyone with skill in pathing is able to make easy work of the funneling. I used it myself and laughed at players who spammed troops. Often (but not always), skill > troop levels.

Hey guys, this is Ash (the creator of the Hypercube), and I've read through most of your comments here. Many of the comments I found silly. Anyone who truly understands the game understands the limitations of defense. Especially when you're defending against a player who's a TH level greater than you. If you can't understand that, then I can't help you. There's a reason why the Hypercube had become so popular. Not because it's "cool" or simple design, but because of how effective people had found it to be. It did what I had created it to do, knowing the limitations of a TH9 defender. I shared it with the sole intention of helping others protect their loot based on the many philosophies the base held.
Anyways, feel free to criticize as much as you want, but those who had used the base for a long term understand it's true value.
