Prediction: upcoming sneak peak heroes available all the time

Think about it in light of recent and upcoming changes.

1) removal of DE zapping

2) 3hr kick off to ensure more defending and other changes designed to encourage proper defending (24/7 heroes mean we get them on regular defenses as well as to attack with)

3) No more TH snipes and changes to loot bonuses meaning less DE generated from higher league without spending resources.

I think supercell is going this direction. They will do what everyone is saying they will not. Heroes will be available all the time. DE, not the upgrade time, will be the new constraint in hero progression. They will make the money elsewhere via increased boosting of troops, hero boosting and DE drill boosts. They may also increase the DE amount required to do the upgrades.

I am willing to bet and guessing supercell is thinking the same that increased velocity of micro transactions will net higher profits than the few odd whales who gem their heroes.

People who pay to gem heroes result in no revenue once they quickly max them anyhow. The larger amount of money on the table is all of us with closed wallets not willing to pay to gem hero upgrade times.

Supercell will increase their net profits many times over with this. We all will get a better game. I am looking forward to this sneak peak and very excited for the update! #holiday wish heroes 24/7

nope. do you realize that SC makes 10 dollars every time people gem those 7-day hero upgrades? And people are desperate to do that just to win clan wars. This is one of SC's major sources of income.

The 2 most requested feature from the Clash community : Hero's usable in War while upgrading and Clan War Tournaments have already been ruled out from the the so called biggest update of Clash of Clans...

I do realize how much it costs to gem hero time. I also realize the difference between one time purchases (viewing cumulative cost of gemming hero time to max) vs indefinite and ongoing purchases from many people boosting their heroes because they are available all the time.

Its pretty clear to me that heroes 24/7 will be more profitable. With the huge changes being made it looks like now is the time. Good going supercell, # i believe in you.

I'd love for this to be accurate, but I can't see it happening. You have to always keep in mind that they are a business first. They have a great game because that's what gets the business, not the other way around.

Same with any company. I know it's in vogue right now to bash "greedy corporations" but they are providing a solid product with some convenience factors to provide profits.

I can't blame you for wanting it though, because I want it too. I also want free twinkies with every purchase of a gallon of milk, but I'd buy the milk even without twinkies free. Just like we will play the game without heros in war while upgrading.

The only options are 1) pray that they find it in their hearts to cut their own profits 2) show them that hero availability costs them more to not have (as in a boycott, mass exodus, etc...)

In'shallah, meaning there will be twinkies if God wills it.

I do not predict this will happen solely because it is good for the game.

It is going to happen because supercell is a smart company and will realize they can make more $ with this change.

The comments saying "it will not happen because supercell is a business" are missing the point.

I predict this change will happen precisely because supercell is a smart company that wants to maximize their potential profit.
