Hey guys, I've played CoC since January/Feb, 2013. I've been a one clan man since then and have lead now for about 2 years. One thing I have noticed during this time that has strangely only now motivated me to make a post here, is how consistently poor global has ALWAYS been.
Recruitment through global is actually a real task with a clan full of adults that don't want to spend hours on end sifting through the noobery of "any girls here?" or "who wants to date?" 99% of the discussion that goes on in global is absolute garbage by <15 year old kids.
I'm not 100% sure I have picked the right area for this thread, but hey, this is as good a place as any to suggest that globals now have certain entry requirements and that players be allowed to migrate through the specific globals (assuming they meet all the minimum requirements).
Certain globals for perhaps level 100+, 150+, Townhall 10s only or even Townhall 9s only.
I'm not sure how incorporating an age based global would work (GameCenter birth details?) but if there was an adult only global, I would honestly be over the moon.
Even having a variation of globals based off locations would be nice, too. I'm not racist, it's just impossible to communicate thoroughly with 9 year old kids that aren't in my country, and I really have no wish to do so/and be be abused for not letting them in. As a maxed Townhall 10, that ALWAYS happens, like I am expected to help everyone I see on global. I don't have time to dish out endless advice there, AND grow my clan without having to sift through 5000 globals for one recruit who may not even stay anyway.
Anyway, take it or leave it. I just believe some flexibility there would really do the community some good, and encourage similar level players to stick together and help each other out. I'm sure you (SC) would be able to come up with an idea to benefit the majority on this one, if you wanted. 👍
