TH 7 is to train you for war with higher THs. making TH 7 stronger does nothing, defense is already way over offense, there is no need to add more defenses because you dont like that ppl can take out ur TH 7. get over it and get to TH 8. when i was at TH 7 i specifically set up my base to protect my air defenses not my TH, in order to defend against dragon attacks. figure out the game instead of complaining.
