nobody seems to care but it's important

Everyone says how balanced th9 is (pre update ie) but nobody just does not care how unbalanced th7 is....its really bad for the game....every other th is nicely balanced but th7 is a graveyard for defense..... Sc should consider to change it,...i wld like th7s to hv an xtra ad...but instead of having level6....restrict the ads to level5....,3 level 5 ad wld b really good....and also they wld learn how to deal with 3ads...not jst 3 lightning one lyk nw and do a mass dragon....plzz sc..,plzz change this and th7 will be so much more fun.....u r changing a lot around now,..,so why not this change and make coc a better game and th7 to be a more fun place to be....

TH7 isn't supposed to be "balanced", TH8 and below is supposed to get 3-starred in every war. Now TH9 is added to the list because TH11 is being added.

If I'm reading this correctly - and who can tell because it's not easy to follow - you want more defenses for th7 making it harder or impossible for th7 to defeat th7 ?

I have news for you, a th7 can dragon a th8 with three level 5 AD.

Is that really "balance" ?

Why stop at th7 ? A max th6 can be looned with a few hogs/giants in cc right now.

I agree. Skilled attacks should be rewarded not just this lightning on one air defense and mass drag the other. I love TH7 and think that you should get one.

true. @OP, would you be happy if SC deletes the spam troop called dragon altogether?

Yes a th7 can defeat th8 base with dragloon....by not by 3lightning one ad...and also if the base has 3 level6 ads.....good luck with that with level2 drag...the thing u tld about th6 they can do it with loons but when they have maxed loons ie level 3 loons for th6....
Every maxed th except th10 can 3str a maxed th of its level....this is balance....nt for th7...jst drop your drag and u jst dnt hv to do anything.... Do u think it is good fr game...??

You didn’t ask for 3 x lvl6 AD, you asked for 3 x lvl 5, hence me using lvl5 in my comment.

No one mentioned dragloon although it’s also an option.
No one mentioned using lightning. When I was first th7, rage was commonly used.
The challenge for lvl 2 dragons vs th8 is the size of the base not the AD.

My point is a third AD will not save a th7, that with the right troops most th will be defeated by their equals and all th will be can be defeated by a higher th if the attacker has enough smarts.

Sorry but th7 is a balanced as it ever will be. You actually want to unbalance it.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that every other TH is more balanced than TH7, but it's simply not true. TH5s and 6s can flatten each other just as easily with ballooons or giant/wiz (and healer for th6) as a TH7 can flatten another TH7 with dragons, it's just that no one really spends enough time at lower THs to notice or care.

But that's how the game is supposed to work...it gets progressively more complicated and more difficult to execute a successful attack at each new TH level (whether you're attempting to 1 star or 3). A lot of players will also tell you that TH7 is the place you really begin to learn how to use your troops, and that it separates the kids who lose interest from those who are in it for the long haul because the real game doesn't actually start until TH8.

That said, I agree that dragons are a bit too easy at TH7 but I'm not sure I'd add a 3rd air d. I'd start with a second air mine, but anything more than that and you now have to rebalance every other troop too.

TH7 is like the introduction of the 'real game', it's not supposed to be hard. Before TH7, it's basically about Tier 1 and 2 troops. But once you unlock dragon (and maybe hogs), you get a taste of the higher tier troops, how and powerful they can be during wars. TH7 is supposed to be easy to 3 star, TH8 is where you need to use mass dragon more tactically.
