Actually this wont reduce the money they make. If you could gain cash faster (and lose faster) it just might increase the online time for a lot of players and if they need to go offline (work/sleep/sociallife) there is a great upsell in shields..Quote:

I agree with you, as for pros and cons. SC will not be able to please everyone and people with change, will always find something to talk about. I am looking forward to this update, the word "big" was used. So with that I imagine it will be more then walls and a tracker for donating troops. To be clear you get 1 per hero type. Actually not even sure if you can have both heroes at the same time. But either way its just one archer or pekka in steroids that you lvl up

I think the donation stat counter icon will be a great asset for clans members to keep track of who is donating and who is not.
Why join a clan if you dont want to help out the reason for people to have troops in clan castle is to have a little more help in their attacks or to defend. I see no problem in that.
I know I'm looking forward to the donating stats. As a "co-leader" of a clan, I've been working with the leader and some of our most active players to determine who is asking, and who is donating I our clan. We run into trouble because we have lives and have to step away after making a request, so we don't always see who donated. It will be nice to have hard numbers, and it will give us a better idea of who to keep and who to kick.
I have also heard rumors of an increase in defensive powers with the new update. I can't say I know what that might entail if it happens, but I hope it is for more than just the town hall 9s. Getting smashed by them is getting old fast for some of my clan mates, and I understand the frustration of having pekkas run amok in your village before you have even reached town hall 7. One clan mate in particular has been having some bad luck with this, so for his sake, I hope the defenses are increased. (Well, and for all the th9s down between 1000 and 1500 trophies...it has to be embarrassing to keep losing to brave th6 s...)
My clan has the same problem with the level 9 Th people, even two people who had 300 trophies. the pekka's were keepin me from a town hall so i just upgraded defenses and walls like crazy and now theyre not bothering me any more.The stats thing is gonna be interesting to see all the slackers in my clan because everyone tries to take credit for each others donations and we're tryin to find out who the slackers r so that we can kick 'em
i guess there will be another wall added to it
I think thay it is either gonna kick pekka butt or suck the other side
So after all the sneak peaks i have heard, new walls will come, donating ♥♥♥♥, dark elexir, if any1 know anymore plz tell me.

Did you forget that maintaining servers, employees and developing new content cost money? If you want to see some outrageous profit hungry companies check out Nexon, Square Enix, Softnyx, etc. Companies like that would make you pay even to have a second worker along with a nice price tag to even play the game.
Most games I see nowadays require you to pay to even unlock upper content especially if they are free and of high quality such as this one.
This is one of the "fairest" game I've come across in a long time in the app store as far as "Pay2win" is concerned at least supercell gives non gem buying players a chance to earn gems through achievements, clearing landscapes and through various event on their facebook. Sure with those gems you're not going to catch a Bonbee Canada member but at least you'll have a little bit to work with. Heck, if you budget well enough you can eventually afford 3rd, 4th and who knows someday even a 5th worker.
Besides at the end of the day whats the point of rushing to the end of the game like the top 50 Clans if you couldn't even sit back and enjoy the journey you took to get there because everything was done through gems/$$$.
